@mysty0 drifters control their cars in a somewhat uncontrollable state. Driving out of a slide while holding your angle with perfect throttle control, feathering the steering and managing weight distribution is a lot harder than simply turning the wheel into the way you're spinning douche bag

@kowal789 And how wrong you were. Drifting is a sport in which powerslides are scored by angle and proximity to apex and walls/objects. If you're not in a drifting competition, or practising drifting for show, you're not drifting. You're powersliding. But much like this video, most drifting videos are not even powersliding. They are just fails and should'nt be allowed by law.

@kowal789 That's right except for the audience part. By balancing the throttle and POWER of the engine, and compensating with the steering wheel to SLIDE sideways in a controlled maner, you are in fact powersliding. Drifting is the SPORT where powersliding is the technique used, and drivers get scored based on their skill. Audience or not. But since most of the worlds population are calling handbrake-turns "drifting" nowadays, I give up.
