  • Oh...by the way...you can PLAY them too :)

  • 4sixlostsoutls - your 'pros' have fed you a lot of shit. now what HAS changed is in the great recession, these guitars like everything, are far less valuable.

  • If you don't play don't invest!! Leave that to us who really appreciate them!! They were not ment to just hang on the wall they were made to sooth the soul!! With a delicate jazz cord or a nasty power cord!!!

  • i love Derek Crapton

  • I just farted, you wanna know why? Suscribe.

  • I've heard lot's of pros say that the vintage guitars are bunk, they want something to play on and right Brother there are plenty playable cheaper guitars Epiphone (owned and made by Gibson) made fine reproductions until you can progress to a real Pro Model. Shred like Fred till yur Dead! It's the artists talent, emotion & expression not the price-tag. Many careers were launched by a Stella like BB King and Chet Atkins and myself learned on

  • "embezzeled in our history"? What the hell. This guy proved he's a moron in the first 20 seconds. Next.

  • Absolute bollocks.

  • This guys an idiot! He has all 2nd rate guitars and his prices are twice the market here in the states, he's "full of shit"!

  • typycal aussies. thick as sh*t. 69 Strat? who played one of "them"? eh, nobody!!! australia's top vintage guitar dealer? australia's ONLY vintage guitar deal!!

  • Closetalker ey

  • Where are Clapton Guitars?

  • where is Clapton in the equation here? That guy said that Clapton played one of those 355 back in the day, that's all. Please change the title because you've wasted my time.

  • Good God... No love for the classic guitars. No different than classic cars... Meant to be put on display... NOT PLAYED... It's history, Obviously not everyone is dropping 400k on a Les Paul. Remember there are only a finite number of this guitars that's what makes them special.

  • @Scrappalino Guitars are meant to be played, heck instruments in general are meant to be played. Now I wouldn't go on a world tour with a really rare instrument, but they shouldn't be put in a glass case for the rest of time.

  • @sgtpepper1138 EXACTLY !! Unfortunately collectors with more money than sense, many who don't play at all have pushed the prices of these great axes through the roof, far above what any hard working accomplished musician can afford. Stupid cashed up collectors and GREEDY retailers should be chased down and hung from the nearest tree.

  • @TelecasterLPGTop There's enough decent quality cheap guitars out there for people who can't afford vintage stuff.

I mean if you don't like collectors, why would you care whether the guitar you have is made in 1959 or 2009?

  • GAY!!!!!!

  • This is stupid. Guitars are for playing, not speculating. Every guitar player I've talked to has told me that composition body wood is more durable than solid. Necks on even cheap guitars are made of maple and hardware like tuning heads and pickups isn't that expensive, so what kind of quality are you paying for?

All you can do is play it *LOL*

  • @fistofate For one... Most of the old Gibsons and Fenders were made by individual luthiers thus putting a little something special into each guitar. The glues, the woods, the pickups, the pots and yes the hardware was all different...They were made in a time before guitar makers cut corners with cheap pot metal, pickups, and woods and spent time really crafting something. I'm all about playing my guitars and there are a lot of quality instruments made today. But it's nice to appreciate history.

  • @Scrappalino Gibsons may have had expert luthiers but Fenders were designed for and built by low wage Mexican workers who knew squat about guitars. The key to the quality of the early pre CBS Fenders was Leo Fenders use of precise tolorances in his machining. Such things as the cut of the nut, height of the frets ,width of the fretboard the height adjustments in the bridges of the Tele and Strat were machined to tolorances of 100ths of an inch.

  • 25 years ago I begin buying Japanese guitars The guitar snobs said these were not as good as "vintage" American guitars. Now these are called the golden age of japanese guitars and they are vintage themselves.. Now they are recognized for ther quality and considered great players. In the late 70's and early '80's Japanese guitars were often better than Fenders and Gibsons. If you can't pick up a guitar and tell wether its good or not its just like trading baseball cards or stamps don't mean shit

  • @Scrappalino i have an old 54 fender and prefer my reissue, because it stays in tune and actually sounds better.

  • Fuck you.

  • @bobcatmonster yy lol
