Hmmmm... I don't mind Rush - don't listen to them much at all now, but I think they're a bit behind Lizzy and well behind the Beatles. For starters - both Lizzy and the Beatles have female fans, something Rush sadly fails to ever do - they don't have a very wide appeal. Rush have this amazing ability to send females into a rage. My brother's wife banned him from ever playing Rush in the house. I would not go to a Rush concert expecting to pick up.

While I rate Gary Moore as one of the best in the business - in the context of Lizzy - Scott Gorham is the Guitarist that defines the band and it its best and brightest era. Jailbreak has to rate as one of the best pieces of rock vinyl ever - from start to finish it is a stone cold classic! Met him too - a very cool guy who stopped to chat and have a photo taken. Kudos Scotty.
