  • Probably the best band of the 90's. In my opinion.

  • Too many solos that sound out of tune

  • Didn't expect they would play this song live. One of my favourites.

    Thanks for uploading.

(I still prefer the piano version)

  • Can't believe they actually played this, rather hear Billy play it on the piano and nothing else.

  • beautiful

  • This is the venue Lady GaGa experience in 2008 Miami...WHERE is the crowd for these legend(s)? Dead.

  • oh snap billy pulled this one out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,damn love it

  • It would be awesome if he recorded this version for TBK! Probably won't happen, but that would be amazing!

  • *shiver*

  • This is amazing! it really is.... the guys that got to go to this really got a treat! I never in a million years thought this would EVER be played live!! And what a great version too! I love it! Hope it gets played again when they tour next, would love to hear it! thanks for sharing video! :)

  • So glad you were able to get a clear audio recording for the whole performance...thanks for posting!

  • @swedrock Yeah, no problem man. Btw, I favorited your Stumbleine recording (I didn't have enough time to get my camera out for it). Thanks for getting that, I really loved when they opened the show with that. :-)

  • really good!

  • I wish i was there =(

  • How does Mike Byrne do that crazy propeller-like rhythm starting at 5:30? It's amazing!

  • "Spells of Esmerelda / Emeralds foretold..." My favorite SP line of all time...

  • @easternmind Mine is actually "I often speak of you, but the you is always me. 'Cause when I speak of me, it's me I ask of you". Also the line after that, "So let there be no truth, just trickery in rhymes." What does the Esmerelda line mean?

  • @NeuWeive Oh yeah, I love those as well! Of course, every line in this song moves me in some way. You know, I'm not sure what the Esmerelda line means, but I love the way it rolls off the tongue. For the most part I'm very much into the poetic aspect of lyrics more so than the meanings behind the words. From my understanding though, the name Esmerelda is actually derived from the word "emerald..."

  • @easternmind amarose, not emeralds.

  • @mrdrstandrew I disagree, I think he's saying "emeralds." What does "amarose" mean?

  • @easternmind spells of esmeralda, amorose foretold. that's the actual lyrics.. sorry not trying to be "one of those" Pumpkins fan. but had to. ;-)

  • @easternmind Sorry to correct your favorite line mate, but it's "Amarose foretold". Great tune.

  • I never imagined this song like this, but it so naturally fits this rock style!

  • Oh my god thank you so much for posting this!

  • @easternmind Oh yeah, I figured it was my duty to. Btw, I think I know you from the SP site (I'm SiameseTwinsAtTheWrist). :-)

  • @NeuWeive Yep! I have an account on the SP forum. I've stopped using it lately, but I look around there every now and again...
