I think what happened with FEAR, was that the producers started to make the dares too intense, and really just wrong, as the season went on. I remember watching them thinking.. that chit aint right!! and it was only a matter of time before they went too far.

Not only were the dares too intense, but they increased the time to complete them. 18 hours in a locked cell at Eastern State is unreasonable for a lousy $5k. Besides, if I ever went on as a contestant, as soon as they took off the hood and told me I was at Eastern State, I'd quit. Fairfield Hills (St.Agnes real name) is not much better, but the dares are shorter, at least.

No Matter what happens, always keep a level head!! rushing and panicking will just cause more anxiety which of course makes you feel as if something is chasing you.

I've been to Haunted places and my fellow investigators too made the same mistake of panicking. Just slowly walk, feel the spirit, or energy. they can't harm you because you empower yourself . well 80% of people hurt themselves in investigations when they trip or run into walls during investigations.

Man, I would have loved to do something like this. The only part that got me though was the attic because the story of that man who had hung himself. I don't know why, but individuals who hang themselves has always freaked me out as opposed to someone who was hanged by execution. Still, I love abandoned buildings and I would think of it more as a exploration opportunity then ghost hunting.I'd be in it for both!:)

No this was real. It's not called St. Agnes Hospital. It's really called Fairfield State Hospital in Newtown, CT. I live 5 minutes away from this place. This place lives the scaring sh*t out of me. My friends and I broke in one time, it's real. Now this hosiptal is closed down to the public. You can't even go near it. The weirdest part is that there is a maximum security prison down the road and an Amrny National Guard post across the street from it.

Common sense tells us this wasn't completely real. I think their fear was real because I think there were "crew members" behind the scenes messing with them to evoke that "real fear" response. Plus being in the dark after you've heard scary stories about a scary place will play tricks with your mind. That alone is enough to make it all seem real. I can believe a place like that has paranormal activity though.
