in melee you want to do your fastest and most effective moves that you can control your opponent with. getting those falco combos is hard with the opponent able to DI out of it. thats falcos style to win, if you say he spams that way yhen would you say king spams air attacks because he does them?

i don't know why people, upon watching a bottom tier defeat a top tier in a match, are convinced that mewtwo counters the spacies.

almost every character can combo spacies by virtue of uthrow, uair, or any vertical knockback move. that mewtwo could gain and keep momentum for half a stock against a falco is not unique - bowser, pichu, ness, etc. all have combos and tech chases that can easily put a spacie from 0-80.

kaito has a very impressive mewtwo.

I guess Mewtwo is quite a strong counter to falco. Mewtwo is too light to be comboed easily by falco (what he's best at), and the reflector sends him way too high to be comboed with a dair. Also Mewtwo got some chaingrabbing abilities, another thing that BS isn't too good at countering. At last, Mewtwo got quite good off stage attacks as his recovery is great, therefore gimping falco, whose recovery sucks rather easily.

If you see the recent movies with Bombsoldier, he fights Kaito a lot. Perhaps Kaito adapted his play style exactly on how to counter falco.
