  • I really love your perspective on things, your very interesting to listen to! :)

  • This is a great video thanks for making such a great video, lately I have noticed things about my own sexuality that has made me think differently, I do consider myself bisexual. But I am now starting to learn more about pansexuality, and I will admit I have found trangendered people as well. What I have noticed is that I am attracted to femininty. But I have also had experiences were I realized that I was attracted to trans people. Well thank U for your point of veiw on the topic :)

  • I think you are SO fascinating, Angela!! You really synopsized how I feel, but I could never really articulate. I have often referred to myself as "a gay man trapped in straight woman's body" because that was the closest I could come... but yeah, I'm attracted to a specific ENERGY which usually presents as male, but not always. Thanks again for another thought provoking video!! ((hugs))

  • That's funny, Montyollie, because I think you are so fascinating! I was just watching your video, "Thoughts on gender neutrality" and found it so intriguing. Alotof what you expressed was how I felt before I transitioned.

  • Wow, and I though I was confused before. Never really thought of the energy aspect but I have experienced the same thing. I have been attempting to fit my identity using the labels that are tossed around, but found none seem fit. Sometimes I'am attracted to a female and sometimes male, but all have the same personality (energy). I hope you speak more of your thoughts on this. Great vid, thanks.

  • Thanks Marnie!

  • beautiful and smart!! Got damn!

  • @despitestraightlines Thank you!

  • who is this wnba player? You got me thinking now! lol! I really wanna know.

  • Lol, I will never tell!

  • Wow, your thought process is flowing! I totally sympathize with the attraction to male energy, though I have never wanted to be with another woman. Have you considered dating transmen? I told a close friend that I was attracted to a t-guy and she asked me was I now a lesbian. I promptly explained that he was the exact opposite of me which makes him a MALE! Go figure?!

  • @VivikaKitt3n I think I could date a trans man, and have been attracted to them in the past. The only issue, the same with women, is I'm attracted to male genitalia. I don't know if I can overcome that, although I do believe anything is possible.

  • pansexual is just intellectuals way of saying "bisexual"

fuck all these categories though for real.

there's simply things people are into, not a label to it. an d people can change their likes too

  • I don't see why being intellectual is a bad thing. We know for a fact that the world is complicated. Continuing to only see bisexual as legitimate and ignoring the possibility of pansexuality is simplistic.

  • there's nothing wrong with intellectualism, but what i meant was where it is mental gymnastics. it's much like nietzsche with how he could declare God is dead, yet he has no flag to hold up on his own instead.

pansexuals i've noticed usually don't really get it or are just basically bisexuals who are into transes. they do it to seem more intellectual when they're not

although there are a few aunthetnic pansexuals out there

  • @ devaloki

The thing is, there is more to be attracted to than just a "man" and a "woman", and their respective genitalia. Pansexuality kinda covers all the bases, in which bisexuality only covers the "standard" two (or that the sex construct deems standard anyway).

Labels are rather constricting. But sometimes people need labels, whether they feel emotionally connected to one or they just want things to be simplistic.

  • @LiberalByProxy The word "bisexual" has been used as the umbrella word to cover everyone who was somewhere between straight and gay for over a hundred years, At first it was only a "gay' rights movement, but at first Lesbians, and then bisexual and trans activists have fought hard to get ourselves included in the LGBT rights movement over the last 40 years. Many bisexuals still claim the identity proudly, as it has always meant being attracted to all genders.
