Er, what part of the bible says that sex is a sin? The Old Testament actually encourages procreation with the idea that 'God's children' (Jews) should have stronger numbers. It even encourages polygamy, until Jesus shows up. It's true that Christianity demonizes "carnal impulses" and female sexuality. Maybe that's what you were talking about?
Which book of the Bible are we talking about? Leviticus? I don't remember anything like that. I think that Christians do seem to believe that something along those lines is in the Bible (they certainly preach as if it were so), but I really don't recall it being said in so many words.

The Bible DOES NOT say "sex is a sin". The Bible makes it clear that we need to have sex for pro-creation. You said that ppl don't pull the Bible out when a married couple has sex. Er, what part of the bible says that sex is a sin? The Old Testament actually encourages procreation with the idea that 'God's children' (Jews) should have stronger numbers. It even encourages polygamy, until Jesus shows up. It's true that Christianity demonizes "carnal impulses" and female sexuality. Maybe that's what you were talking about?

Which book of the Bible are we talking about? Leviticus? I don't remember anything like that. I think that Christians do seem to believe that something along those lines is in the Bible (they certainly preach as if it were so), but I really don't recall it being said in so many words.
