We are looking for the first Australian Commercial with TAA morphing into a butterfly with a Australian Airlines colours. Does anyone have it or know where to get it????
Several years ago is correct. He died of a heart attack in the 70's as a co worker stole money from the company and Frank died trying to pay back the bills and working too har
This music was re wriiten by a briliant man called Frank Smith fromn Frank Smith Products. He had recording studio in Jolimont Melbourne and was one of the first to have an 8 track recorder. His technician was Gil Matthews
@MsWonderwendy - Several years earlier, Frank composed and performed the theme tune and much of the inicidental music for the TV drama series "Hunter"...
@hebneh - the song's actually called "Up, Up And Away", and TAA adopted and adapted it as their advertising jingle throughout the 1970s. But you got the music group's name right.

Note that the orchestra is playing "My Beautiful Balloon" (made popular by the Fifth Dimension) in the background.
