Well, to say that is great as great is pushing it beyond credibility. But al least when the characters are not allowing the special effects and fights get in the way, the chemistry here is equal or better than Indiana Jones 4 in some scenes. The manipulation of history is unforgivable, but excusable considering that the real history is so much more great than this summer flick. The movie does not suck, but the whole Mummy franchise is in need of fresh new ideas and directorial direction.
