First I want to say that I am a big Robert and Anna Fan,but Anna has lost her dam mind. She only said that her involvement with Duke maybe more powerful then their to hurt Robert. Duke has really got her so whip that she can not think straight; its like she refuse to see Robert's point of view because she wants to be in love so bad with someone other than Robert.
I really don't like this scene at all. Great acting, but poor Robert. He was married at the time and he told Anna many times when she came to town how much he loved Holly. He told Anna over and over again he would never leave Holly...blah blah. So I guess this was Robert's turn to be on the outside.
WOW..wow.. That was some powerful scene between Robert and Anna. I had to turn up the volume to hear her "I'm sorry" and I glad she did after saying "Not even when we were in love, well maybe this involvement is slightly more powerful"
Anna hung her head in shame fast...
So what describes Robert's look when she made that statement?
@dlwoods7 He definitely looks taken aback and hurt but trying to mask it. Unfortunately he can't fool her and she knows that she said the wrong thing. And then Robert tries to glaze over it... I love how they were constantly referring to that history between them and the pain that existed and how they never acted like they hadn't been in love, like we see couples do now when they've moved on. She apologized because she knew she was trying to hurt him. I love the dynamic!

I'd gauge his look as "stung but stoical," he's trying not to show that she struck a nerve.

I think it struck a nerve in Anna just as it came out her mouth also. She shocked herself. This really is a good storyline with these missing pieces.
