@lillamb4297 Some place on eBay a while back. I don't recommend it though. They weren't all that expensive, but they suck. They're really thick and peel on the corners. Despite putting them on exactly how you're supposed to, did it with two sets of decals, too.

@barofcherrysoap I'm pretty sure it's real close to the same size as the '97 model. Not much changed size wise in the RM80 over the years, but I could be mistaken. The bike is fairly small, to me at least now. I'm 5'7" 125lbs and I fit the bike pretty good, but also ride an Xr200r which is significantly bigger. I think if you're anywhere in the 5'4"+ range you can manage it. I also believe power was the best in '98, but similar to the '97 as well.

@barofcherrysoap I think you'd get bored with it after a while. Like I said I'm only 125ish lbs and 5'7" and I love getting onto the 200cc to rip around. Just a lot more power. I mean don't get me wrong for an 80 it's a real fun bike, light and easy to ride/toss around. But you're probably growing still (I assume you're near my age.) so if you can get a bigger bike, do it. If you can't, you'll still have plenty of fun.

@dinomagic Power wise, I can't imagine it's too far behind. Technology, well things have advanced quite a ways, but it's nothing money can't fix. Have fun with that bike, you'll love it. Maybe a few years down the road you can get a newer bike, as I will do too.

Oh it's a great bike all around. I love it. Suspension is fine for me, but to each as there own. And the Rm80 is probably just as powerful as the Kx85. And it runs great. Starts on 1-2 kicks every time, No choke. It sounds good, as you can see in the video. Cranks all the way through all the gears. It'll damn near flip itself in 1st, and even 2nd just by dumping the throttle. No need to pop the clutch. So all in all, it is a Great bike. I love it, and you will too. Not many out there either.

Did you buy yours new or used? I asked some people on an online forum and they said that to be careful when buying used because the suspension could be worn out, etc.

I got mine used, from a buddy. And suspension being worn out isn't a big deal. But it shouldn't be worn out. If it is, which I find hard to believe, you can just buy a new rear shock spring. Not a big deal. Tires would be a must, I would buy new, unless they are in good shape. Do you have a link of the bike? I'll take a look. :D But you'll have to PM me.
