two wyas to stop this is a zapper fence similar to that of bug zappers only for the mexicans and a wall of bodies if you leave enough bodies lieing in the dirt they will begin to think twice about approaching the border . drop em on site no more bean bags or paintballs . a sniper at every 100 ft intervals will put an end to all the border crossings NO MORE INJURED OR DEAD BORDER AGENTS . but a bullet to all illeagls who try to sneak across and a hole to put em in.

Also, before someone comes on here to say they need them for translating... bull! There are plenty of people that speak Spanish, and other Central, and Southern American languages that aren't fresh off the boat. You don't need 1/2 of your border patrol consisting of translators. You wouldn't even need nothing more than a handful of translators anyways if the border was properly managed, and funded.

A simple solution (if not already in place) to counter the wire stretched across in an attempt to decapitate a Border Patrol officer, would be the lesson learned by U.S. motorcycle couriers in WWII. Affixed to the front end of the bike (or in this case ATV) was a tall piece of metal round bar shaped like an "L". If a wire was stretched across a roadway, this bar would catch & snap it before it could harm the rider.
