You should try pairing the dress with the second sweater you showed, the beige sweater with the lil flowers, I think. It matches the bottom. Color of the dress! Just a suggestion! But really cute stuff!!! I got my two daughters into thrifting! I'm so proud of you girls learning early how to bargain shop! :-)
It's also really not cold where I live! And also, girls here wear vans and dresses! I didnt know that was in style anywhere else! What state do you live in?!
