@Moraud5386 I was wondering the same thing. I've seen jerseys come close in design and color but this is ridiculous. I would imagine it might get confusing on coverage.
@romofan19 you like the cowboys you have no room to talk. personaly i think a merge should grow between the cfl the nfl and the ufl. yeah there are some so differences but i think i would be pretty cool with 4 downs , 110 yards and 12 men on the field.
@pnroyal Don't know where you heard this... I hope he does because I like watching the UFL more then the NFL, but I cannot find anything on Brett Favre going to the UFL.. The UFL already has Daunte Culpepper and Jeff Garcia, so adding Brett Facre would not surprise me. Something tells me that the UFL will outgrow NFL by 2012.
I dont think there wiil be a lockout ad either way if their is one the ufl will maybe be popular for one year and as soon as the nfl comes back everything will be the way it once was
This would make a killing in the spring. I want football year-round, and UFL would have like 10x the ratings and TV slots if they did that simple thing.
@SashaNein Perhaps people should make a petition or contact the UFL. It may not be heard at first but once the UFL understand the fact that alot of people enjoy UFL but is hidden by the NFL then maybe something will happen :)
@TiCats85 marketing industry lol. UFL is hardly that. This league is not a sell out like the AFL or CFL moving to the NFL Network the UFL is 100% independent.
Just heard of this. they actually have rules (or lack there of) that the NFL should bring back (and or do/not do) NFL is getting stupid with dumb rules and changes, some for saftey and for the better, others just dumb.
The biggest thing that bothers me is that all the teams look exactly alike. It's hard to get into a team with no distinction from the rest. The NFL has running teams, passing teams, defensive teams, etc. These teams are so much alike, they practically wear the exact same uniform.
@GhostDistortion yea hu? Well i hope the league gets bigger, you know with more teams n stuff different uniforms of course lol, but yea i wanna have something to watch during the NFL ofseason, and this would be good, plus i live vegas lol, where champions woo! lol
The City of Casa Grande, Arizona constructed a $20 million training facility, which the UFL uses as its main training facility. The Las Vegas Locomotives and the California Redwoods have their training camps there as well as their regular season practices
The league has confirmed a second season, and additional franchises are possible for 2010. The league's defending champions are the Las Vegas Locomotives, who defeated the Florida Tuskers, 20-17, in overtime in the November 27 title game.
UFL is a really shitty knock off version of professional football that actually thinks its competing with the NFL. Some think it is a developmental league, but that's not true. Its a completely different league that has no connection to the NFL. Every player in the UFL is either a washed up has been or someone desperately trying to get the hell out of the league and play real football for the NFL.
@jdlund no the UFL is not competing with the NFL there not that stupid, and its actually growing fast, well what should you know rite? make research first then talk.
It's a professional football league that isn't in anyway connected to the NFL. Therefore it is a competing product. I would agree that the UFL is vastly inferior and it is not like the old NFL vs. AFL competition. But the UFL is still a competing product by virtue of it being wholly separate from the NFL.
There's no way two professional football teams can coexist. Even though I really support what the UFL is about, anytime there is an outstanding player here, he'll just get signed to an NFL team because who could refuse making four or five times the money?
Josh, that is the whole point of the UFL, to give these NFL-caliber players an opportunity to showcase their talents in hopes of signing with an NFL team. Or resurrect their careers, like in the case of J.P. Losman (who signed with the Raiders after the UFL season by the way). The UFL season coincides with the NFL season for that reason.
what is the real difference between this league and the NFL? i mean besides some penalty changes there really isnt a difference! why not have these teams join the national football league when they finish expanding? it would be good to see some new teams, besides i never even heard of the UFL until i just randomly found it
You watched the news lately? The economy is SCREWED. 4 teams is a minor miracle. It lets them start slow and build on a foundation, as well. Going all-in with 8 teams and a big marketing campaign is what the XFL did, and look where it got them.
the ufl has sorta fruity team colors. they are all bright and light. but i like it. it looks modern. they use a lot of white and the numbers look cool. the uniforms are sexy.

Looks Good. Remember the NFL didn't start out well. There was the AFL-NFL merger later on and all that other stuff. Good luck and I hope it succeeds into a league that great players will join, maybe even the best alternative to the NFL. Who knows, maybe in 20 years it will be as popular as other major sports and have elite athletes.
The UFL is a bit raw at the moment but it has potiential, if they ever decide to expand, I hope they head to Austin or San Antonio, im sure no one is using the Alamodome right now, that and get some individual-looking uniforms.
the Florida team is very good. Especially on Defense. They are fast and they fly to the ball. I'm looking forward to the LA expansion team next season. F-CK the NFL and their overpaid crybabies !!
i honestly think the ufl should expand and change uniforms and have players on the practice squad of nfl teams play there so they have a reason to be in the nfl
Yea they based the colors off the UFL logo just for this season only because its the premiere season. Next season the team colors we'll all be different and the owners will be able to have different uniform patterns. Also next year the league is expanding to 6 teams 1 has already been confirmed to be Los Angeles and the other 1 is rumored to be Hartford.
Because its the premiere season and they decided to promote the league by giving the teams the same color template based off the UFL logo. Next year they will all be different colors.
Ya they have the chance to be big if they don't try to be a better league then the NFL. Like the past leagues they tried to be better then the NFL. NFL is going to be the best league 4 ever. If they treat this league like a minor league then they will lasts more then 5 years. Like baseball were they have the MLB and then the minor leagues. Mabye after their first 5 years of the league they will have 8 teams and they will keeep growing from there.
this league is genius, the UFL along with the AAFL, USGL, new USFL, AFL (maybe), af2 (again maybe), it gives people like me, a quarterback from a place called Burnley in England, a better chance of being able to turn pro and play ball for a living
In the Spring, you can watch the CFL!! It's actually a much better league than the UFL.

Hey Las Vegas finally has their own football team.
That's cool, I've always thought that Las Vegas would be a cool venue for a football team.

i honestly think the ufl should expand and change uniforms and have players on the practice squad of nfl teams play there so they have a reason to be in the nfl
ryeman4233 2 years ago
why do all the teams have the same colors
ilovecrap 2 years ago
LOL I was just thinking the same thing. both teams are wearing white jerseys???? hahaah
kentj21 2 years ago
all four teams in the league have green/blue/silver as their colors. thats weird
ilovecrap 2 years ago
Yea they based the colors off the UFL logo just for this season only because its the premiere season. Next season the team colors we'll all be different and the owners will be able to have different uniform patterns. Also next year the league is expanding to 6 teams 1 has already been confirmed to be Los Angeles and the other 1 is rumored to be Hartford.

LA! Sweet!
ilovecrap 2 years ago
Because its the premiere season and they decided to promote the league by giving the teams the same color template based off the UFL logo. Next year they will all be different colors.

chargers702 2 years ago
Ya they have the chance to be big if they don't try to be a better league then the NFL. Like the past leagues they tried to be better then the NFL. NFL is going to be the best league 4 ever. If they treat this league like a minor league then they will lasts more then 5 years. Like baseball were they have the MLB and then the minor leagues. Mabye after their first 5 years of the league they will have 8 teams and they will keeep growing from there.
OSUjunki 2 years ago
In 5 years the league will be at 10 or 12 teams it's already expanding to 6 in year 2.
CTsportscentral 2 years ago
I just went to the Las Vegas, Florida game. Florida smashed Las Vegas.
I think florida is the best team. they whopped on New York and Las Vegas.

this league is genius, the UFL along with the AAFL, USGL, new USFL, AFL (maybe), af2 (again maybe), it gives people like me, a quarterback from a place called Burnley in England, a better chance of being able to turn pro and play ball for a living
ert9243 2 years ago 2
@ert9243 don't forget the CFL.
DarthSchwartz 1 year ago
They will...next year. All the teams are sporting the "league colors" this season but will adopt individual uniforms and colors f
