The biggest thing that bothers me is that all the teams look exactly alike. It's hard to get into a team with no distinction from the rest. The NFL has running teams, passing teams, defensive teams, etc. These teams are so much alike, they practically wear the exact same uniform.

UFL is a really shitty knock off version of professional football that actually thinks its competing with the NFL. Some think it is a developmental league, but that's not true. Its a completely different league that has no connection to the NFL. Every player in the UFL is either a washed up has been or someone desperately trying to get the hell out of the league and play real football for the NFL.

I would agree that the UFL is vastly inferior and it is not like the old NFL vs. AFL competition. But the UFL is still a competing product by virtue of it being wholly separate from the NFL.

Josh, that is the whole point of the UFL, to give these NFL-caliber players an opportunity to showcase their talents in hopes of signing with an NFL team. Or resurrect their careers, like in the case of J.P. Losman (who signed with the Raiders after the UFL season by the way). The UFL season coincides with the NFL season for that reason.

The UFL and AFL are two totally different things. AFL football is played indoors and on a 50 yard feild. Also, the AFL was cancled just a few months ago and will most likely never be played again. The UFL is something totally new; it just came out this October.

Looks Good. Remember the NFL didn't start out well. There was the AFL-NFL merger later on and all that other stuff. Yea they based the colors off the UFL logo just for this season only because its the premiere season. Next season the team colors we'll all be different and the owners will be able to have different uniform patterns. Also next year the league is expanding to 6 teams 1 has already been confirmed to be Los Angeles and the other 1 is rumored to be Hartford.
