  • Great stuff! I will never go back to using rim cement again! A bike mechanic told me about the speed and ease of using Tufo rim tape. I mounted then rode Continental tubulars on new carbon rims without any problem at all. This video is helpful. But have not replaced anything yet, so cannot be 100% sure that it is perfect. Nevertheless some rim cement can damage the surface of some carbon rims. Be careful!

  • The pressure conversion in the video is incorrect. 1 bar does not equal 1 psi, rather it is 14.5 psi.

  • This video is really educational and well developed.

  • Tufo recommends that you only use their tubular tires. They do not recommend using other brands as there is no guarantee the tire will adhere to the tape. Talk about appealing though!

  • @shmattson of course they recommend only using their tires with their super cool tape which no one else offers. Otherwise most people would stick to their own brand of tires and just use tufo tape...

  • Top video

  • Some of my friends swear by it for road riding and even stage racing. I've been considering tubulars for my next wheel upgrade and this looks to be a quick way back to the road over traditional glues. Thanks.

  • Their sealants suck!! They have clumps of rubber inside the bottle which I guess forms from the liquid sealant itself and clogs up the tip so nothing comes out.

  • that's not so bad after all!!

  • thx !
