  • 2:19 why is it doing that

  • Installed 1984

  • I think TK would do a good mod. But replacing it with a 330A should not hurt.

  • @an65001 This thing ain't going anywhere for a while.

  • @suzzex Too bad. :-( The sooner they modernize that death trap, the better.

  • Who does Crate & Barrel use? Thyssenkrapp? KONE?

  • @NHB2010 Schindler.

  • What are those other elevator? Did you film them?

I have a Crate & Barrel in my area but they use Schindler elevators. The motor sounds similar to the one I filmed. Also, it has rear doors.

  • @NEXPAR Which other elevators?

  • Oh... the parking elevators.. Did you film those.

  • @NEXPAR Yes. The parking deck elevators also serve as the mall elevators. They are the early 1990's custom Dover classic traction elevators.

  • Looks New. Is It?

  • 1994.

  • 3:39 ANJU IS HERE!!!!

  • LOL!!!!! :)

  • Rode it today. What a creepy elevator! Heights is famous for that.

  • The Heights headquarters is located in a dump. Literally, in a dump in Yorktown Heights. Google it.

  • So thats how they got the name Heights. I have a bad feeling there's alot of Heights elevators in that area. I'll have to check out Jefferson Valley Mall sometime.

  • Good luck! Your gonna need it in a Heights! May I suggest the buddy system!!

  • Epco Classic Fixtures

  • No, I thought these were Heights exclusive fixtures!!! lol. Heights is too cheap to make their own line.

  • OMG..what a death trap!

  • It sure is.

  • I think this is a holeless hydraulic elevator, and it uses Epco Survivor fixtures.

  • Wrong, It is Inground, you can see through the outside glass window, which isn't covered yet. They are Epco CL Ceries CircleLine Buttons also

  • It fooled me too in thinking it was holeless. I couldn't see through the window that well, so it was a very hard decisions. Dea41396returns knows because he was here before they covered it.

  • Yes, I am not surprised about this at all.

  • This is not Epco Survivor.

  • Yes, but back then, these fixtures were made by Adams Elevator & Escalator Equipment Company.

  • Epco Survivor is vandal-resistant. THese buttons are no where close to vandal-resistant, and it doesn't matter which company. By the way, Schindler now owns Epco.

  • That's interesting, since I've seen Otis, ThyssenKrupp/Dover, and Kone elevators use Epco fixtures. Also, Survivor is the standard package, while the Plus is the vandal resistant package.

  • You a partially right, According to Epco's website, it is called Survivor Plus. There is no evidence on the website that there are two different sets of Survivor.

  • That's correct, and there are 2 types of Survivor: Original (Standard), and Plus (Vandalproof).

  • Epco Survivor is only vandal-resistant.

  • You are indeed partially correct though.

  • I saw out through the phone box! Try that next time!

  • Usually I'm not here that often, but when I return I will be sure to try! Thanks for the helpful tip!

  • I tried it and it doesn't work :(
