  • That RS-1 looks great. Going to have to pick me one of those up. Also what model is that subway car next to it and who makes it? Much appreciated.

  • @gc53dfgc Thanks, subway is Walthers Proto 1000 if I'm not mistaking.

  • i got a question....how in the high holy hell do you get the motor to not buz so much. im useing a digitrax sound decoder and a regular decoder, but the motor keeps over powering the sound even when the sound is turned all the way up? foolsih locomotive is startin to grind my gears. Btw its the atlas/kato rs-1

  • @will77537 What is the brand of regular decoder, I will guess: Bachmann?

  • @dcctrain haha no im not that foolish. There digitrax decoders. Cant tell you the names of them off hand. the motor was slightly off center i noticed once i took a closer look though.

  • hey man

great videos all around! i was wondering though, what sort of camera you are using to record these??

    thanks again!

  • @incubrian Thank you, it is SONY HD camera 2 years old.

  • Do you sell 24 because I use bachmann ez track. I can't find 24.

  • @acela2168 It is probably time for you to change to the flex track and built it right with roadbed, Bachmann track is good for loop under Christmas tree, the materials they are using so cheap and low quality, For my customer I just took a part one layout built from this EZ stuff, nothing was running properly good quality cars and engines derailed; We have flex track and switches from Altas, Pico, Shinohara,Micro Engineering, Walthers .

  • What radius of track do you use?

  • @acela2168 this is 24 and 22 on our store testing layout I can run anything, may except some steam brass locos.

  • What model is that Chessie switcher?

  • @jonnyspeed ATLAS

  • Awesome use of your camera

  • I have the same one but without dcc

  • This decoder sounds pretty damn good! I usually do not like QSI but this decoder sounds great!

  • I agree, after playing with this engine I recognize I like newer QSI much better.

  • @mountainlova1009 I did not remodel the frame, I did install custom speaker Railmaster Hobbies DS1635-8 and completely remodel lights, this is average board swap installation nothing really complicated. Speaker and chamber are in front of the loco facing down it gives toy more base.

  • @dcctrain Ah, I see now, So a small 1/2 or 1/4 speaker should be able to fit inside it just as easily? (i though having a 1/2 speaker at each end of the engine, on top of the trucks, would work just the same)

    Thank you for the information.
