no fancy tactics, normal game, easy tactics, not complicated as said in conversations comparing with computer, i find that unnecesary and not linked to the conversation. What i did like was 0-0-0!!!
I really can't believe the guy you're playing is master. So many ways to thwart your attack, Of3 instead of Qd3. Bg6 instead of Nf3, (Bg6 Qh2, Kf2 Qh4, g3, Qh2, Ng2 + (Bg5 Ne4, Qh3+ pawn hangs on f4 after trade) Low class game really, and not worth showing on youtube, sorry to put it to you.
white had an easy way to survive longer... when the knight moves back up move pawn to H3 if he takes knight rook takes knight and the queen cant do anything..
white doesnt take with d3 with c2 pawn because there is not much material advantage in that move. + with two rooks remaining, it would be more dangerous especially with a G and H rank combo of rooks
Really good game. I hate playing timed games against very strong opponents, because those games usually end up in unorthodoxed setups and its easy to lose material when youre rush-thinking and you dont recognize a trap variation in the weird layout.
Basically the faults were on Sargis Hakobyan solely, he anticipated a certain strategy which wasn't played. Too bad for him, but he already had made to many moves to get out of that misjudgement winning. Thanks for the vid!
What about Bg3 instead of Qg3? Then if black takes the knight on c3 white would play Qf4 threatening mate on c7. I think white would have the advantage after Bg3.
Why didnt he push the pawn up instead of the knight?

Black is not a 1710---no way. This is clearly master level chess from black.

Yeah, a win for black but frankly White just played poorly and blacks win was no big deal.

I had seen N back to d4, so you have only yourself to blame, don't make it like it's a computer move.. keep practising instead

Hi
Sorry im not good in chess, just interested in the game so please dont flame at my stupid question but why doesnt white take c2Xd3 ??

at white time?

I think Bg3 might've been better at 00:46.
Then if Qxf3, Qf4 (threatening mate), Qe5, Qxe5, Nxe5, Bxe5 and all is even again.
On Qd4+ I think Kh1 is simply fine, and black is no better off.

I wouldn't say 0-0-0 is dubious no - as the game proved, white got nowhere near blacks king after that, because the pawns were so tightly locked.
Great analysis, love the death blow with the knight - you would think an expert would see that coming a mile away!
Dessan01 4 years ago
0-0-0 ?! is dubious. White made several mistakes in the game. Black played ok

A 2010 player could never continue after the queen hanged

hello! why didn´t black take the knight on f3 instead of the queen? in the next move white would be checkmate.. , can anybody tell me?
suepamaen 4 years ago
If Nxf3 at around 2:52, then simply Qxf3, and the bishop is still blocking the queen.
Qxh4, h3 and white's position is still tenable. Far better than with his queen off the board.
ivolol 4 years ago
Nf3 at 1:29 was a blunder. h3 is better even if white moves Rdg8...
kaptainkool408isaDOG 4 years ago
eh...unsound sac, but entertaining.
i think you missed the queen defense with your
calculations and got bailed out by the pawn
push.
at 1:29, h3 followed by Rdg8 and Kh8 probably
gives black a slight edge, despite the material
disadvantage.
any computer output? what did fritz say?

Great video! Thanks -- Instead of recapturing the bishop on e5, why didn't he play g2?
