Yes, this song is indeed a First Rendez-Vous remix. The key is a notch lower, the tempo is slower, and they used a violin overlay after the first bar. Download the program Audacity and you can probably render something similar yourself. And no, it is NOT "My Scribe", that is a modern jazz piece.
