Thanks man, really, I've been searching for hours but didn't know it would be this simple... Silly me >.<. I deleted the Ubuntu partition wich gave me a GRUB Rescue prompt when booting, making me reinstall ubuntu... But thanks man!
@subNader Thanx a lot man this video really helped me.. I also used Easeus partition master.. It was kinda trippy but once I figured it out it worked great thanx a lot man
@SubNader yeah i had that program from installing ideneb on my pc, didn't work and i uninstalled ideneb, (mac os x leopard) then i got ubuntu, and was pissed that i couldn't run itunes (i know with wine and all that) so i had to install windows on my pc again and do this. and again thanks alot for the vid.
I need help please I want to install Windows 7 Home Premium back I can't access my Windows 7 and Linux is not even installed correctly on my PC somebody please help me I could help in something in whatever you want please I just want Windows 7 back :/
AMAZIN... Linux Hater UNITE!!! lol thank you so much man... spend 2 days looking for answer instead of watching this video... again, thank you so much... wow thank you. n just in case i forget, did i say thank you?
well iencountered a problem, i when ahead and deleted the ubuntu partition not thinking and now windows won't load, i thinki deleted the grub, if i reinstall ubuntu and dual boot it again will i be able to do what you did in this video just the same?
Thank you! It worked beautifully. I was thinking of using another method where you delete the partition and all. Then re-write the mbr using a live cd. But the disk I got from my computer's manufacturer was just a restore disk. I've been told to use HBCD but it's not quite an intuitive way to go about doing this.
Good thing I found this and I was honestly skeptical because it's so easy. But I rebooted to see and voila! Thanks again.
One note though: Some computers have a recovery partition, like mine.
EasyBCD tool, by default, selects the first partition which is the recovery partition. Make sure the correct partition is selected BEFORE clicking Write MBR. In my case it was partition 2 (NTFS - 100 MiB).
hi, thanks for this tutorial, seems to help alot, stuck on one point though, deleted the partition and im left with free space, tried deleting that and its saying "there is not enough space on the disk(s) to complete this operation."
