The only thing Jaguar needed to have done is made a statement for itself. These new line up models are great look and have decent specs on paper, and might actually perform well in real life, but no one would trust it. Jags just do not have a personality. When you think of one of them, nothing comes to mind. Just like thinking about a normal car, no soul in them at all.
I seriously like what the Indians have done to jaguar. They made jaguar unique and advance. I wish they made a jaguar with a XJ interior with a XF exterior. xJ is just too big.
@harrisoneatsairplane I think it looks ugly. look at it closely looks almost like the face of some kind of alien. eyes nose and some kind of mustache and at the bottom the mouth. May handle very well but for the price the Scion FRS concept looks a whole lot better for about half the price.
If you would have doen your research before posting, you would have known all the Jags are still entirely made in England. Otherwise, you would have been able to afford one if it was not made in England.
All the people worried about the reliability for the Jaguar Land Rover vehicles there’s nothing to worry about. TATA is one of the biggest businesses in the world and no matter what happens to the economy here in the west they will always have money for their projects. So do yourself a favour and if you want to buy it go ahead and buy it don’t make excuses.
Too bad you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Jaguar and Buick surged to the top of J.D. Power and Associates' closely watched vehicle dependability study, dethroning Lexus for the first time since the Japanese luxury brand has been a part of the survey.
Jaguar is recently (March 2011) rated top 3 most reliable brand with 5 stars rating(with Lincoln & lexus) by JD Power. Unless you own research beats JD Power. I doubt...
@felixcruzazul wrong, the Japanese are copying the Europeans. Just look at Lexus vs. BMW. BMW's styling is seen in Lexus models following their debuts.
All the new models have the same XF face... I prefer the old styles where each model looked different.

@Rico8458
Out sourcing to other countries are typical to German cars. Specially BMW, Mercedes ,Porsche & VW
Never Jaguar & Tata said they will keep it that way to maintain the brand prestige.

@blazzing4321 actually no. aston makes similar cars..which are similar in performance and style. which happen to be 3 times as expensive..ya idiot.

@blazzing4321
If you compare to SL63 AMG, M6, or Aston DBS or Vantage (the same class of cars); XKRS is not expansive at all. Comparing to Mustangs, yeah

XFR looks more aggressive than an M3 Sedan. I dig it.
harrisoneatsairplane 10 months ago 10
@harrisoneatsairplane XFR is in the same class as the M5 not M3.
LukeNAESA10 10 months ago 5
@LukeNAESA10 But as of now, no new M5 exists. I was merely saying that Jaguar's styling cues for 2011 are more appealing than BMW's.
