There is a sword like that used by Mindanao Muslims fighters early in 1900, they called that KRIS, the Huramentado that is carrying that cannot knock down by Colt 38 pistol and end up chopped by this swords. Its probably one that killed Magellan.

@bmorgsn95 typically baliswords arent used for flips anyways. the weight of the handle and blade could actually cause some serious damage to your hand if you tried to flip one. be safe :)

@xxCaptainFishstix well the blade design is that of the moro kriss which is a traditional double edged blade in the southern islands of mindanao philippines and since it is used up to today as well as by the indonesians in martial arts then i doubt it is useless and it being a balisong type then it saves space without the use of an excess scabbard. plus with the folding design it can also be used as a bludgeon if space does not allow you to open the blade

@bowow0807 I stand corrected. How ever, I was not really referring to its functionality as a weapon, but as a toy. Trying to do any flipping with this would be quite difficult if both edges of the blade are sharp.

@xxCaptainFishstix well i guess you are correct but this was used as a weapon if you want something for flipping then get a regular balisong because this can only be safely and effectively flipped the "no show" way as in no flash just straight to the point get it open
