Why are all the comments about the song and not the iggy!?!!? It's actually quite easy to train an iggy too use water... It's natural too them. Just use a dechlorinator in the water though. Iggy's will generally pick 1 spot .. just put the potty in place where it goes! :D They usually only go once a day... rare occasion.. twice.. Dump the water and wash... You're done for the day on the doodie part. :D Great job training, RoadTripGuy! {~.~} It's really nice to not have to wipe up!! Right! :D

When it gets fully grown be prepared to house it preferably in it's own room. Yes,an entire room,10x10 would be adequate to house an adult or at least 3 to 4 feet deep by 6 to 8 feet long by about 5 feet high and let it free roam. And don't forget the $70 mercury vapor bulb you'll need for it. Hmm...now what do you think about the cute tiny $20 lizard you're looking at? I'd go with a rock iguana.

Yup, what silverredline04 said. If the iguana poops on the floor, sometimes they get their tail in it and can leave a trail of smeared poop through your house. This is the cleanest way, and water is usually where they go in the wild. That way, predators have a harder time finding them when their poop has been washed away by a river.

It's easy to train your Iggy to poop in water - just place it in water when ever it looks like it's getting ready to go - I take mine to the bath tub. Reward your Iggy after a good water poop (fruit is a good reward). Repetition is key to teaching reptiles. They can be taught quite a bit with enough patience.

Soon after, me female iggy, Audrey was doing the same thing, and I hadn't even tried training her yet. She learned it by watching Hercules.
