Thanks for giving me a good last look at the old Lowry Bridge.  I've been over and under that thing thousands of times (no exaggeration). It's sad to see it go.

This was my most favorite bridge! As a kid, I use to sing the Mississippi River song when crossing it.

I just got back from the implosion event. I'll have video of it once it finishes uploading! The view was pretty clear from Gluek Park.

Oh! I see you already did. Yeah I love this bridge too. It was great riding a bike over in the middle of the night, when there was no traffic, after a few brews. Such a cool feeling and sight to look down through the steal mesh decking. It's to bad no one else will ever get to experience that again.

I just heard the explosion about 15 minutes ago. I live about 10 blocks away. Very loud! I hope someone will have video soon. There was no way to get anywhere near the bridge.
