I'm so confused! I thought baby white bellied caiques were born with all black heads... my two are almost 9 months old and they still have mostly black heads. I got them from a reputable breeder and the black is slowly going away, but why were yours born with almost no black?

LOL..... anyone standing within flight distance becomes a jungle "jim" or "jane" to these babies. LOL They love climbing and getting snuggles from anyone who gets close to them. It is fun!!

Thank you for your kind comments. We expect them to be weaned right around christmas time. I don't think that either sex of bird likes either sex of human any more than the other. Caiques pretty much like ANYONE who offers to play with them.
