  • A tech for my highschool marched this show and he said the first time they did a full run, he puked. (along with many others)

  • badass honey badgers!

  • What a kick ass tenor feature.

  • seeing this live was so mind blowing.

  • To Bad they stole the tenor solo from Ponderosa high school drumline. They did it the year before!

  • The rim click at 1:25 is the reason why they tied

  • That guy that does the snare solo has amazing sound quality and nice chops!

  • The Zone in 2005 was the best of all :D But this is still one also of the best

  • My band did this show this year, look up Sherman high school marching band 2011.

Saturday we preformed at our Area and got 5th so we're going to State!!!

    Thanks Cadets!

  • im watching this in 2011... i personally think this show was better then angels and demons

  • Just search Sparkman High School Band 2011 :)

  • I love this drum break! We did this as our drum break at sparkman high school this yr. and it was really fun

  • dude...SOO well written. love it

  • I passed out from the awesomeness

  • The guy at 0:08 is my percussion instructor!

    Go C. Ludsford!

  • pearl

  • this feature is crazy. i love watching this

  • i have been searching for this one for a while. i didnt know who it was, i just knew it was in the early 2000s... amazing drum feature.

  • My drumline instructor is one of the tenors. He did the solo for us once... it was AWESOME.

  • Piss clean.

  • I still like phantom better

  • Man, I love the Cadets.

  • When I watch this, it makes me wanna practice when I get those lazy days.

  • The reason I play!

  • I just realized part of the reason I like this is that Cadets were playing on Pearl, which has a better sound quality than Yamaha (which they have been using recently). Listen to how solid and full the solo snare sounds at the beginning.

  • @neilyvanneily No, the reason you like this is because it's fucking badass. End of story.

  • @neilyvanneily Pearl....teh best reason to play drums

  • ayee

  • Not a Hot dog band

  • lol gotta love when youre throwing down so hard and you crap out the last 2 notes

  • If any drum solo in DCI history were to be put in a Broadway Musical... this would be it.

  • This is still my number one.

  • check out my full version of DCI - THE CADETS 2000 video =D

  • wow, that tenor break is freak'n off the chain!!!!

  • the 1 person that disliked this must be a cavalier

  • haha i can always pick my instructor Jarod out, just look for the midget tenor player on the right. :p

  • @codymichael21 correction in the middle. anyone have music for this?

  • tenor solos should have won drums

  • Tim Green everyone.

  • Scondoro BOOM this is what marching band/drum line is about! 3

    Wait!! WHAT?....MARCHING BAND?

  • can anyone tell me which quint is jared moore?

  • @phsquint09

he's the one in the middle with the big muscles

  • @phsquint09 donnie/ zach. Jarod is thesencond to the right quint

  • 1:12.... Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. TIM MAYNARD!!!!

  • Snare drummer 3rd in on the right side is a TICK

  • speechless much? o.O !!!

  • i jizzed

  • KICK!

  • @Bah3932 Try getting any of this clean bro.

  • i couldn't, you're right. i guess it's just a testament to how simple, exposed parts are more difficult to clean, but it is kind of funny that they can jam paradiddles piss clean and then bail on the "easy" stuff (ie, the last two quarter notes).

  • Comment removed

  • MAYNARD!

  • cool snare visuals

  • BOOM this is what marching band/drum line is about!

  • 1:33 drum kick!! aww yeah this is what its all about! =D

  • Yeah that drum kick was awesome, i wish we did stuff like that. =)

  • thats my band director with the giant tom solo

  • my favorite cadet solo..

  • Yes, those are Pearl Drums.

  • that was nice

  • Were they playing on pearls here?

  • Cool

  • I want to figure out how to play Tim Greene's snare solo, the first solo. Anyone have it?

  • Paradiddle, Paradiddle, Paradiddle, Paradiddle, Paradiddle, Paradiddle, Paradiddle, Paradiddle,

7-stroke roll, 5-stroke roll, Grandmas, Casey Claws, Hertas, Paradiddle.

  • I transcribed Tim Greene's snare solo - it's not too difficult until the end. I kind of guessed on the sticking in some spots and whether or not there is a flam in others, but im 95% sure im right. Someone else try bc its not hard, and i'm 16, suck with computers, and dont no how to post it anywhere. But its fun to play as long a you no what a cheese is and can play hand to hand flams relatively fast.

  • THAT TENOR PART IS INSANE

  • Does anyone have the tenor music to this? im willing to trade

  • As am I. I WILL TRADE ANYTHING IN MY COLLECTION FOR THIS!!!

  • tenor or multi-tenor? ;-) lol, for once you actually have to differentiate. well i'm sure we all knew what you meant.

  • hahahaha my high school instructor actually wrote the tenor feature that's on the sideline. i'm not sure if he wrote the whole show for tenors or not.

  • @USC4ever46

No he didn't unless he is Jon Burbank.

  • @USC4ever46

Nope, not unless he is Tom Aungst or Jon Burbank.

  • @superstar7299 ...which he is. Jon Burbank is my instructor. Blythewood High School in South Carolina. look it up.

  • hard corps!

  • damn !! this crazy :D ! I LOVED THE QUINTS :D !!!

  • cadets on pearls lol BA feature

  • Jensen Beach played Cadets 2000 this year

  • I love the last two notes of the second tenor feature. They're followed through so powerfully.

  • My favorite drum feature by far. The kick at the end is so badass. I also love it when the tenors go crazy on their solo on the stands. These guys are definately not FUFs.
