@Parvenu333 Agreed. Never spells out a Ma7b5 chord or related scale or plays anything remotely melodic . The contrast with the next solo only undelines this fact. And Stanley plays a blinder.

I saw these guys at ronnie scotts... i knew about stanley clarke and how good he was. I've got all his albums on my ipod. But until you actually see him play it, you can't really comprehend the magnitude of it all! His band is something else too!
