More cone area but if your looking into kicker theres wayyy better stuff for your money..Look into FI or Sundown or AudioQue..Audioque subs are pretty beastly..or DC they have the best customer service ever!!!!

huge wattage ain't needed in a car, as it shows the speaker is bloody inefficient.

however pa speakers will go way louder at the same wattage input as their sensitivity(efficiency) is much much higher.

however most pa speakers don't have enough excursion (xmax) for real low sub bass.

so unless you use pa speakers in a bandpass box, decent car subs are better suited.

you can get horn designs for car tho, like the autotuba that uses 8 or 10 inch and sounds as loud and deep as a 15 inch sub.
