Se você reparar, após ter expulso todos os vilões de Townsville, o Gnomo fez todo mundo vestir a mesma roupa, celebrar o símbolo da rosa, todos tinham a mesma ideologia. Ou seja, já não havia liberdade de pensamento. Por outro lado, haveria "segurança em Townsville", que era o que as meninas queriam. Mas sacrificar a liberdade em nome da segurança não foi a escolha certa.

It doesn't mean much if you simply read it, but this is a very dark episode, indeed. Doesn't this episode describe Capitalism vs. Communism? I think this is a dark episode that kids wouldn't be able to understand if they were to see it once. A lot of history and violence comes from this episode, alone. It's a scary tale once you think about it.

@zimmifer I looked it up. Craig McCracken wanted Jack Black on here when he was wasn't as popular now. When he got popular they couldn't contact him. So Jess Harnell (the guy who does the voice for wooldoor on Drawn Together) filled in and did the voice for the gnome.

Capitalism does not offer freedom; you have owners. For the PPGs, it's the fact that they depend on their powers and the town depends on them, all the same. (Remember the Big City episode?)

Communism does not offer safety; each day you must produce your best or be reprimanded. For the PPGs, there is the risk of corruption and the possibility of ostracism if their skills are not adequate.

(Btw, I'm a Communist. The system is not for the faint of heart.)
