  • is it easy to tune

  • @GtGills It was not that bad to tune. The same as ant nitro really.

  • hell ya that would be great.. thanks.. ur the best

  • No i did not bend the header. The pipe sits close but does not touch the linkages. I didnt do much other than just install the pipe and make sure the hanger pushed it far enopugh away from everything. I can get some up close pictures of mine if it would help ya out.

  • hey man, i got the dynamite 053 pipe.. did u have to bend the header so it would fit right? it seems like my header is hitting the linkages and stuff.. looks like the header would have to have a bigger raduis.. how did u make it fit..?

  • Ok sweet. Thanks bud

  • That's what I been told. Looks like il be getting one of those pipes. Does it give good bottom end?

  • @shizcol you would have thought the front tires were filled with helium haha. it does great all around.

  • I wanted to ask how u liked the dynamite 053 pipe vs the ths pipe? Does the 053 work better?

  • @shizcol the 053 works 10x better than the THS in my opinion. The Picco .26 is really a big block at heart, just with a different footprint and smaller exhaust port than a standard big block. the piston i found is the same in the picco .26 and the picco .26 true bigblock. When you use the larger pipe it lets it breathe much better.

  • yeah i hear ya man.. what did u have tio do to convert it to bumb box?

  • @shizcol I got a bump start backplate with a truck i bought, and it had a groove machined in it so i did not need to remove the nub on my crank, so i just bolted that backplate on, and installed the 40MM flywheel

  • nice.. well i i know they can get pretty expensive.. so u have bump box setup on it? thought u had pull or ez start

  • @shizcol I converted it to a bump start. It is so much nicer than sitting there with a pullstart when it feels like being a PITA to start

  • how much lol? would u sell the motor and pipe lol.

  • @shizcol was thinking 700 with all of my parts (enough to build a few more trucks minus engines, trannys, axles, and shocks) RD Racing Bump Box (Not the cheaper RDLogics) and a Spektrum DX3.0.

  • this truck is mad sick.. i love it man.. nice work.. do u still have it? i want to do the picco max .26 jl red dot as well.. looks amazing.. and the side pipe realy makes it look good.. why do u say it gets tricky to doi the side pipe?

  • @shizcol Still have it, thinking of selling it since i havent run it in about 6 mos. I got a baja 5b and i just run tthat now.

I said the sidepipe is tricky mainly because getting it to fit and look good around the body. The sidepipe install is not as straight forward as the stock pipe.

  • what year is the chevy truc with thev flames

  • @RevoShawty33 Its a 72 Chevy C10 Longbed body from Proline

  • hey how much would u sell it for or would u trade for my savae x 4.6 bb

  • @ch0l0sk8r platinum edition is on sale for $450 at a main

  • Nice, very similar to mine. You might want to think about RPM Tru-track rear arms. No more changing the rod ends after another car hits you. I'd also put in a second steering servo and wire it in. If your current steering servo fails you just swap the steering arm out and your back on the track in 5 minutes.

  • @doughemi57 I run the true-tracks on my E-Revo but i do not on here because i like the extended rear platinum arms. Helps to tame this engine a little more and keep the front end down. I dont race, so if my steering servo were to fail i would just install a new one no big deal. I haven't run this truck in quite some time after i got my 5B.

  • Bad ass

  • @dandim23 I picked it up on ebay. Some guy had 10 or so of them and i think i paid like $18 for it. He had a very shitty pic of it and i purchased it just because i needed one. it turned out to be pretty awesome.

  • nice mods where did u get tht cooling head???

  • Hi, why did you use the e-revo brushless spec diffs?

    Thanks.

  • @vellaian They are much stronger. They are reinforced to stand up to brushless power so they work great with a big nitro. I reply'd to your PM

  • Nice choice of music! I had the Picco .26 JL Red Dot in my Tmaxx and now i'm getting a Revo 3.3 roller gonna drop in another one!

  • Where did you get those rulux wheels? Are they 1/2 inch offset?

  • @mstreamer9991 they are rulux 1/2 offset LPR wheels. I got them from amainhobbies if i recall correct. they came white and i dyed them black

  • Hey just a quick question...was the Picco.26 Red Dot hard to install on the revo? i have a revo 3.3 and i need a new engine and im looking at the picco but i dont want to make the job to big for myself :/

  • @Lidsey94 The red dot is simple to install. Really, it is just unbolting the stock engine and bolting in a new one. with the exception that you need an engine mount to go with it. Get yourself the engine mount from neweramodels (google them) part number REV118P. You then just take the stock clutch/starter/airfilter off of your 3.3 and install them on the .26. You can use your stock exhaust with it but it does better with the 053 sidepipe like i had. Sidepipe is where it gets tricky!

  • The .26 Red Dot is a great motor. I also think the RPM true Track rear a-arms were a big help.

  • @doughemi57 I agree i love the red dot. I have the true track on me e-revo and i do really like it, but to keep with the platinum style i used the extended traxxas arms here.

  • dude thats not the revo platinum the platinum has a sliver chasis

  • @1999151 Did you watch the whole vid? i guess not. the truck i had was a standard revo, and then i bought a roller and transferred some of my parts. so it is a platinum revo just with some of the hopups from my first revo. please watch the whole video before posting.

  • really good looking truck

  • do you like the sway bar i just put a picco .26 in my revo and it rolles everywhere

  • @raymondmarch123 i wouldnt take my swaybar off. after i put it on the thing handles like it is on rails. its amazing.

  • Thanks I think i'll be ordering one soon!

  • Looks like you had the THS pipe before the side pipe.. how much better did it perform? I was thinking of going from the THS to the 053. was it worth it?

  • @jeremyschlegel Yes! this thing was a whole new monster after adding the 053 pipe. Dont get me wrong, the THS was a good performer but there was that extra amount of power after adding the sidepipe!
