  • first verse is really like Gin n Juice - Snoop Dogg. dont get me wrong, i love both songs.

  • @Jimmylqd yeah i listened to that as well and noticed the same thing... interesting...

  • @Jimmylqd that's the point...

  • Sick beat....

  • jukeria - correct

  • snoop dogg ?

  • Ludacris is in that sweet spot where he can do a song with Justin Beiber and can go spit sickness with Mos Def.

  • The rock guitar in the background which is kinda outa focus actually defines de song

  • when was this recorded?

  • it's a shame Luda worked with Bieber

  • @supperunknown hahahaah right ! little punk

  • @supperunknown Oh God, are you serious??? That is terrible!

  • Fun track.

  • yup...yea but this not an album song its a mix tape

  • @anasdarkness yea

  • they went in

  • Ludacris and Mos Def your best MC :D

  • wow, whoever had the idea of Mos def and Luda on a song should be givin a grammy

  • It's pretty obvious why mainstream hip hop is like it is ... the public wants beats not talent. If you want real deep music to think with then don't listen to the radio. KRS-One, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, De la Soul, Talib Kweli, BTNH, Nas, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Rakim, Immortal Technique, Lupe Fiasco, Common, and more ...

  • @eS0UL you must talib alot..you named the cat twice!!...but preach...

  • kanye is good, but artists like mos def talib kweli lupe common are what keeps hip hop still alive.

  • @mistahmaskman along with the great producers too

  • lolwut

  • mainstream to me is 50cent, because all of his fans believe that he is "hard" but once his income went of 100,000 dollars a year, i think his gangsta card went out the window; m&m was on a track called "the realest niggas" irony? m&m clowns on MJ, brittney spears, lohan=mainstream; brotha lynnch wont ever get constant play, cuz he doesnt wanna change his lyrics and "watch his mouth" crooked i, easki, gurilla black, celly cell, dj quik, boot camp clik, hot dollar, scarface, a few of my favs

  • BCC!!

  • all mos did was retell snoop doggs first verse in gin n juice

  • no he didnt he used different words so it fit him and not snoop which isnt that easy.

  • wasnt that original

  • You do it then, faggot. You don't know shit.

Ever heard any of the hundreds of remakes of "Children's Story" by Slick Rick, INCLUDING a rather great one by Mos? Prolly not, since you're busy listenin to lil wayne

  • could u send me the original if u got it plz

  • soz dont got

  • haha jus remembrin him from the cosby mystrys guys a pure legend in the rap game, hip-hip is dead as fuck!!!

Nasty Nas, Mos Definitley, Talib Kweli, Common Sence & Immortal Tech & no ones coming close

  • how could yu leave out Canibus The G.O.A.T

  • word on that bro'

  • Mos def to me is where hip hop should be going, I miss poetry hip hip. It was so well thought out. He is a good actor too though :D

  • @OhHaiMax "hip hop is about the message. It's about what you say with the rhythm, more so than the language." thats a paraphrase from Mos himself. Solid distinction too. Aesop Rock spits poetry at light speed. It's not hip hop, even thought thats what it's defined as, and he's one of my favorites. But hip hop needs to get back to cadence, to speaking between the words.

  • am i the only one that he is cute/lol/

  • been in love with him since the Cosby mysteries I love him he's special

  • Hot Party-track!!!

  • sickk trackkk

    y so few views??

mos and luda kill dis beatt

  • I agree! why so few views?

  • cuz people these days dont like real hip hop lolz

they all into that soulja boyy shit..

  • no shit! i hate ppl that only listen main stream bullshit and think they know rap

  • yea i was talkin to sum1 who supposedly listend 2 hip hop and she didnt kno who tupac was...........?

  • haha did she have downsyndrom?

  • haha no shes jus one of sheltered ppl who think the kno wat hip hop is but really hav no clue

  • ya i hate that! and i hate ppl that just listen to kanye and wayne and think that they know hip hop! they dont even know who immortal technique is!!!! and they have no idea about chino xl or bizzy bone or talib kweli or rakim or krs one!!

  • haha i kno and she doesnt even really listen 2 him the onl songs shes knows by him are like lollipop and crap if ur gunna be a lil wayne "fan" at least no sumthin about him more than lollipop

  • whoa holds up dont put kanye in there cuz kanye is real lil wayne is alright but not for real hip hop hes rap remember kanyes been with kweli mos def lupe and now kid cudi whos nasty so kanyes still a real hip hopper

  • old kanye is good but i still would nt put him with kweli or mo def

  • i no hip hop n i dont no chino xl or bizzy bone

  • then you dont know real hiphop... mos def is real and since you are replying on one of his videos you know mos def but if a person knows real hiphop then they know chino xl immortal technique talib kweli bone thugz in harmony wu tang clan... you might have a good idea about real hiphop but you dont know it completly

hit me up if you want some good hiphop music

  • Boo, its not about what you know dummy, its about your preference in music. Yours just so happen to be immortal technique. I know about bizzy bone, better yet, bone thugs n harony, talib kweli, rakim, common, lupe fiasco, but you will definately find me bumping lil wayne and kanye being that Im from the chi. Its just my preferences are different and so is everybody elses. By the way I have a quick question just for you, Can you shake your booty to kanye west and lil wayne?

  • i wasn't trying to say its all about what you know, i was trying to tell him/ her that hiphop is deeper than mainstream.. and ya i know about bone thugz in harmony, growin up on farm in kansas that says alot for me.. and i used to be a fan of lil wayne.. (still like kanye.. sorta) ..but wayne's music doesnt go deep like nas or immortal tech or kweli or mos def or pac or chino, so the answer is no.. you wont see me dancin to wayne

  • Omg that's a damn shame.

  • 1:42

They don't even rap the same...it's not that hard to find.

  • are you serious if u love em so much youll kno that ludacris comes on at 1:43...shit
