I agree feeder fish would be a good idea for your tank. bullfrogs love to snack on them. I have a tank full of bullfrog tadpoles and there is one leopard frog tadpole in there that has change almost into a frog completely. they get rather large themselves if they have plenty to eat.

I have an american bullfrog and it is very healthy. they grow to be over a foot long and they need proper nutrition like fish. Feeder fish are cheep and they sell them at most pet stores. They eat alot and make sure his tummy is round and puffy, not triangular. Good luck with him! :)
