I just started taking Psychology and everyone knows of the fight or flight. But, my professor actually says there are three. The fight, flight, and freeze. She then goes on to start how your digestive system turns off and that's why some people "soil" themselves when under threat. I say you did well UNDER the circumstances =P. @2ndadmendmutt There were no guns in the cases. The big one that cut my head was a pelican style case I use to check my carry gun on the plane when I travel.

I blame this incident on the fact that gun boxes are now made of hard plastic. Why... back in my day they were made out of cardboard (has visions of yellow Ruger boxes of years past), and nobody EVER got hurt from a falling box.

Should gun boxes should come with a warning label?

I think this is simply a training issue...

@pilgrimfarmer I still have two yellow ruger boxes! i loved the cardboard ones, when i bought my Bisley 44mag it came in the grey plastic box with the crappy tiny lock. hated it, it would slide on anything harder that a marshmallow.

You probably saved your eyes and/or nose by dropping your head like that, so the secret technique was a success!
