Its a pretty diverse school but the majority of the enlistees are upper middle class white kids. There have been tons of them going into the Marine Corps the last 5 years or so. My dad is a former 11B from the Army, he is a nurse now. Your statement is simply not true, my cousins in the military say that in their unit, it is very diverse with people from all over the country.

You need a highschool diploma and a good asvab score, if one scores bad we just tell them to go away were not interested in you. Majority of marines 9 times out of 10 can kick about anyones ass. They're trained in specific training that gives them the advantage, plus being in shape. If say a random person on youtube has the strength to take down a Marine that's a very rare occasion.

@Ryan24Mathews From the second you meet you're recruiter to the moment you enlist. Around a month and a half. From the moment you enlist to the moment you leave for boot camp is around 5-8 months. All this is based on the fact that you have graduated and are in decent shape. Enlist around 6 to 7 months before you want to leave for boot camp. Otherwise you will be sitting around for months doing nothing waiting to leave.

@ArminTheGman You have to be an american citizen, have graduation from high school, No prior criminal records, No controversial tattoos, ie (Hate,gang,crime,crude,anti-american, ect.) No major medical records that could make you a liability to the Marine Corps, pass the ASVAB test, take a psychological evaluation test. Pass MEPS, get a physical done in MEPS to prove that you are fit for the military. Talk to a recruiter, chances are next to none if your not an american citizen.
@MrTaylorreaves during training alot.... to pass the i.s.t. minimum 3 pull ups and 44 sit ups run a 1 1/2 miles in 13 min. try to do more or run a better time...put out all u got cause if u fail one area they'll see u'r givin it u'r all and maybe still let u pass if u don't u go to the pork chop platoon..hahaha!!! trust me u do NOT wanna end up there.....thatz where all green belts go on their spare time to "motovate" failed recruits...lolz fucking torture!!!

Man, those scores at 3:05 were terrible. At our office we do a good bit more sit ups and pullups. The run time was pretty good though if that were for a mile and a half.

I don't live in America but I have always wanted to join the marines. What do you need to do to join the marines ? Be a american citizen. What do you need to do to become that. I'm just a 17 year old that would want a few questions answered.

@ArminTheGman You have to be an american citizen, have graduation from high school, No prior criminal records, No controversial tattoos, ie (Hate,gang,crime,crude,anti-american, ect.) No major medical records that could make you a liability to the Marine Corps, pass the ASVAB test, take a psychological evaluation test. Pass MEPS, get a physical done in MEPS to prove that you are fit for the military. Talk to a recruiter, chances are next to none if your not an american citizen.

@MrTaylorreaves during training alot.... to pass the i.s.t. minimum 3 pull ups and 44 sit ups run a 1 1/2 miles in 13 min. try to do more or run a better time...put out all u got cause if u fail one area they'll see u'r givin it u'r all and maybe still let u pass if u don't u go to the pork chop platoon..hahaha!!! trust me u do NOT wanna end up there.....thatz where all green belts go on their spare time to "motovate" failed recruits...lolz fucking torture!!!

when i look at other vids and get scared shitless that i might be doing this some day i some times second guess it ( like no one was scared before they went in ) but seeing this helps a little bit and that yhey help you and there not as bad as the movies and other stuff..... alao it could depend on the DI
