  • your best bet is go SIPLE at night use a LARGE Barel bolt no keys required just can only be locked from the in side, if some one realy wants in your finger scaner is no good either. DOG like get a rottwiler. a 24 hr sacurity gard.

  • She is going to have a nervous breakdown over this..lol

  • Even if you do get bump proof locks, you can still pick them... there's like 5000 ways you can do it. The only thing that lockpicking is for when it is used in criminal activities is to surreptitiously break in, if someone really wanted to get into your house w/e they can go in by force if they really wanted to.

  • You hit it with a hammer.

The thing is probably not even 1% of the people don't even know how to lockpick in the US. It's like saying "everyone has guns so I have to get plexiglass bullet-proof windows on everything that is glass that I own."

  • most of Estonian 14-26 year-olds can bump/pick locks. Good that most pick locks as a hobby

  • yeah finger print scanners cool i have a keycard entry system. there is a card that can open those finger print scanner doors easily cause it has sum immage it has on it. I recomend the digit one that u enter numbers cuz they only way to open that is this electronic tool that trys all the numbers in under 10 secs

  • hello don't wanna alarm u but they can be hacked and also finger printed then they can make a mold that will make ur door open

  • Their are cheaper methods out there to prevent bumping.go to lockjawsecurity dot com, You wouldn't have to install it on every door. Just maybe your doors going to the outside. Good luck with your choice and dont worry about the crooks. Oh, and youre a beautiful girl. Don't be so paranoid though. :)

  • About that lock jaw how in the world are you suppose to use it when you leave your house?

  • I asked them and they said they made it for when youre home.

  • NO lock will stop crimanals,I am a lock pick hobbiest and there is alway going to be mechanical tolerances in locks no matter how well the lock is made, plus if you lose your key how is a locksmith going to get in with out destructive entery?

    PS.your cute

  • your a very paranoid girl

  • ad love to bump this girl

  • lol, i ordered my set of 5 keys a few days ago. i think im gonna test them on ur lock.

  • ppffffft.... are you afraid of your shadow too??? bump keys aren't known about by most ppl or criminals. get some sleep you crazy bitch, the chance's of some one using a bump key too hurt you are slim!!!! and if they really wanted too get in and hurt you whats stopping them from just kicking your door down or drilling threw the lock to bypass it????? you seem to be afraid of something that will probly never happen

  • just acquire a gun and you're set

  • Is it OK to leave a nice comment or do you have to be a hatter to leave a comment. Thank you very informative and well done.

  • LOL. Well, I prefer the hater comments, but nice comments are appreciated too. ;)

  • get a dog our get a gun 9mm our 44 yes

  • ye about those finger print locks. theres a MythBusters video out there somewhere where they open it with a licked bit of paper.

  • bummer

  • were you high when filming this

  • No, but I hadn't had sleep for about 36 hours. :)

  • Get an alarm system by ADT. Also buy a gun! YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. GET MARRIED AND GET A MAN IN THE HOUSE TO PROTECT YOU OR IF YOU ARE DIRT POOR THEN GET A DOG!

  • shut up! you have problems sleeping. get help.... no one is breaking into your house. your video camera sucks and your computer probably sucks.

  • How rude! My camera did suck. I've got a new one now though. As for my computer, I assure you that it is better than yours. No offense.

  • she is hot -)

  • Thanks. I disagree, but I'm working on it.

  • try singing a song in ur head when ta cant sleep. that is what i do. then eventually i fall asleep. or u could try sleeping pills such as Lunesta. I heard it really works good.

  • Nothing works anymore. The first thing to pop into my head when I lay down is "Shit, my mother is up for parole next year." I get more terrified every day.

  • Look GET A FUCKING ALARM SYSTEM. Also you are still as at risk as you always have been. Thousands oflocksmiths use this technique as a last resort. Just keep your shit locked.

  • the alarms are available at radioshack for under $100 and are simple to install from what i can see on the box...

youve got to remember a lock isnt ment to keep somthing 100% safe... its just a deturent... the only people who wold pop a lock to get in... wold most likely crowbar your $500 lock and $1000 door anyway... so its not like your more at risk now then you where 15-20 years ago...

  • what you need is a boyfriend with a gun... thatll keep the badguys out!

but realy if ur that paranoid you need help not expensive locks.... besides if sombody wants in they can just kick the door down... or bust threw a wall... personaly i like to use the trojan horse methiod... i mail myself to ur house in a box! (just gotta hope sombodys there to sign for me) =P

  • LOL. Trojan horse method. That's awesome.

  • haha i was drunk as hell when i left that comment!

i dont even remember doing it.... the "you need help" parts kinda mean sorry!

anyway i agree with the person that said get a dog (too bad your in an apartment) i live in a bad nehborhood... so i got a german sheapard/Akita mix.. have you thought about a loud alarm? you can get small alarm systems that work great in a palce like an apartment where you have people near by that wold come check out the sound if it went off..

  • sweetie... take some xanax and relax...

  • Xanax is terrible. I took it for one day, when my baby sister was put in the hospital. I couldn't drive, I couldn't follow a conversation, nothing and I had the smallest dosage. I actually haven't found any anxiety meds that I can take on a daily basis.

  • bloggerchickster: Do you drink much alcohol? When I was drinking I used to get a lot of anxiety the day after because anxiety is the rebound after a depressant. When I quit drinking I didn't need anxiety meds anymore. It's not an easy thing to do if you love getting loaded but it was the answer for me.

  • Nope, don't drink. Sometimes, on holidays and stuff I drink but most of the year, the house is dry. :) Thanks for the advice though.

  • there is a new deadbolt latch that kwikset puts out and it's called the night watch...it's a goooood lock. and if you wanna go check out a guys video on here, he can show you how to make a pick/bump resistant lock for like 5$. go to my channel and look up Slim...something or nother and its the video right next to the nightwatch vid.

  • thnx

  • 12 doors??? You dont need it on EVERY door in the house..

Your kinda moving around alot LOL

  • I know. I'm a spaz. I have panic attacks so every little thing I can do to prevent them, including alarms on every door, helps. :) Again, I'm a spaz.

  • Get a dog. Not a little yippey thing(although those work well too, cause dogs hearing is so much better) They make great companions, and it's so nice to come home and know no one is there who shouldn't be.truth be told, nothing is foolproof,so live your life.good luck.

  • Thanks for doing that research, it's not enough that we have to worry about Muslims attacking us. I will be running out to get my new locks tomorrow. You did a great job in explaining those options.

  • I can't have a dog. I live in an apartment. :(

  • It sounds like she wants someone to break into her house and visit her in her bed, or perhaps just have tea with her.

  • Tea is nice.

  • get a chain lock or a bolt lock on your door, works just as well.

  • Ah. Wow.. Thank you for bringing this up. Mind posting what kind of locks you found so I can look into buying some? I'll be moving on my own in at least a half a year.. Chicago.. and I'm kind of shaky because of the crime and what not.. So that would make me feel a bit safer that they can't at least get in within seconds.. Something to prevent it a bit. Thank you.

    ~Rose

  • thats hot

  • to be real, odds are you're not gonna get robbed. dont worry about it too much, you're probally not gonna get robbed while your at home. you should probally get a hand gun and keep it in your closet or somethin, but if you have security alarms on your doors they wont be there long.

  • I know. Statistics say I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning. Unfortunately, once it gets dark outside, my brain starts freaking out and there is nothing I can do about it. :)

  • wow! thats sound really scary. i hope they dont do this kind of thing here.. otherwise, i'll be freak out for the rest of my life.. =/

  • I'm sure they do it everywhere.

  • yikes!

  • Thank u so much for the info.I am home alone a lot and any little noise i hear scares me, so i know how u feel.I've never even heard of keyless locks.I will have to check them out.I have also considered a handgun. Thanks again.

  • Firearms are the ultimate in feminine protection! Fuck these predators. I took an NRA course when I got my first handgun and started going to the range on a regular basis. I use a S&W .357 magnum and a Browning Hi-Power 9mm. I can fire .38s or .357 rounds out of the revolver so it's very versatile. I prefer the 9mm though because I have two 13 round clips that give me lots of chances to scare the shit out of the bastard before I blow him off the face of the Earth. :-)

  • buy a shot gun! :-) You might sleep better!

  • I have 2. I think I want a hand gun though. Shotguns are big and take more time to point than a handgun. Plus, I'm little and the kick hurts my shoulder.

  • but the shotgun is easier to hit someone, and more intimidating.
