  • Mucha alaraca por un video posteado hace 4 años. ja, ja, ja

  • Hahahaha Can't believe it ! Lol

  • no te va a arrancar porque no tienes conectado el sensor del MAF

  • CONNECT THE MAF SENSOR ON THE AIRBOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what i dont get is why they took a 2 min viedo

  • you needa intake!!!

  • Probably the distributor cap is inverted or a spark plug cable is in the wrong position, check the alternator rotator too. Put back the intake system...

  • @chrimay no, it wont start, ever, because right after the airbox is a maf sensor and if it isnt reading a vaccuum upon start up, the car wont start, plain and simple. that was the very first problem i had with my jetta, it is a very sensitive sensor

  • @JUSTaSTEPPINGstone I am not sure, recently I clean my Jetta III Mass Air Flow Sensor with contact cleaner spray and forgot to reconnect it, my car starts and run without problems until I stop pushing the accelerator, then it turns off instantly. Sorry for my bad english.

  • @chrimay then i would take it into a mechanic cause there is a possibilty that it could be a computer problem, especially because if the maf sensor is not directly in the intake airflow during operation the car wont work, the ecu uses the maf info to determine how it should be operating the engine. without it, the car shouldnt be running at all. seriously man find a good mechanic and get that checked.

  • junk car

  • Of course your from canada no brains u r gonna kill that motor if u keep trying dumbass

  • @chocolateyman lol u stupid dumb fuck, look at your profile pic, hahaahhahhahaha you look like a raging homosexual

  • @audiocable O really dude atleast i know the problems with my car unlike u, and i dont try to kill my motor on mine and you raging homosexual no one says that to let you know that just a fyi you Fail at insults and with cars

  • @chocolateyman lol, post pics of what u got, u prbably dont even have a car, poor ass peasant

  • @audiocable Hahaha u make me laugh i have 1991 mk2 jetta with aba 2.0 swap with rebuilt 5 speed trainy with a autotech 270 cam, lighten flywheel, Neuspeed short shifter, it has Widened racing steelies 15x9 4x100 yeh i know what im talking about and your calling me a peasant who says that good job there smart one, atleast i have a brain to put on a intake manifold and not try starting it without one dumbass so watch u say Candian bitch(no disrespect to other candians) just to this dumbfuck

  • its the ignition coil and module, you got to change it for a new one replacement, that is the problem, typical in a 2.0 ABA engine VW

  • why do you people not understand that it does NOTHING when you pump a fuel injected engine check the timing put the fucker back together and if it still don't run check the fuel pump

  • what a fuckin idiot...

  • It sounds to me that the engine timing is off. Someone mentioned that a plug wire may be switched. That could be but it or it could be something worse like the timing belt may have skipped a couple teeth or broke all together. Stop! trying to start it!! Check the timing!! You are smashing the valves if the timing is off!

  • MONSTER battery and starter! hahha

How do you espect to start with "half engine" deassembled ?!

  • Hola mi amigo! you need to put that little hose back on. it helps the crank case breath! and it would start if you put that plastic elbow back on the throttle body and mass airflow sensor. time the thing and your golden. beauty of fuel injection. this is the conversation between the two guys after the camera shut off. "hey pablo, jew need to go to advance auto and get some starting fluid mang, and get some chrome wiper blade covers and stick on louvers. yeeahh mang."

  • Nearly every person in this comment section knows FAR less than they think they do. The car WILL start without the intake connected (the same as a bad MFA sensor), it will run badly with a large enough vacuum line disconnected, and possibly stall...but it WILL start and run.

The smoke coming from the intake on the other hand is fairly worrying. Without more information there is no accurate way this car could be diagnosed here.

    Kei

  • @Kamukix that said, it does appear that the engine is firing incorrectly which can be caused by a few things. The first and most easy to check for would be the plug wiring being out of order (most likely), and after that checking the timing would be the next thing to do.

    Kei

  • HAHAHA its a hit and miss engine!

  • I heard some kind of foreign accent here....

I only wish we could send all the intellectually retarded back to where they came from.

  • Try giving it more gas! LOL I think you used a gallon just during recording! This is hilarious! LOL

  • you might as well just ride your bike idk why would you disconnect the tube to the intake?

  • u dont have ur intake connected it wont start with out it.

  • Why are you pumping a fuel injected car? It looks like to me your holding the throttle down when you trying to start it. Watch closely.

  • Lol they just keep trying and trying...look at it this way you can use it for a bee smoker =P

  • How about you put your intake back on! and how about you learn how to do proper maintenance on your car and you wont have this problem!

  • your some fuckin idiot

  • hi there ...i have a problem with my 98 jetta gt EVERYTIME it rains it just wont start ...after the rains i have to jump the battery and it takes a lot of time to start the car again then runs fine but if it rains the very next day again wont start any ideas how to solve this problem PLEASE!!!!!!

  • Tune up.

  • @ FP JETTA 98 My 99 Jetta Wolfesburg had this same problem. I had to stuff a towel under the windshield wipers to cover the cowell (excuse me if spelling is wrong) so water wouldn't get in there make sure the towel is tightly packed or water will find its way in. as for the battery dying i don't know what is causing that.

  • hi there thanks for your help but i found the problem ,,,it was my ignition coil one of my friend told me that if there is a really small crack in it it will fail a lot so i replace it cost me $10 in the junk yard now my car runs great

  • i believe is the chip had same problem got replace and fix the problem

  • Trying to crank it over and over won't fix it. It will put stress on the starter

  • @jettadude736 true dat, happened to me (although it happened in a faster time span this guy) had to replace the starter. not easy considering you have to jack the engine up where the engine and starter come together gotta jack that shit up pain in the ass

  • pee in the carm that will prime it

  • valves?

  • okay

    A) YOUR A COMPLETE DUMBASS

    B) NO INTAKE = CAR NO STARTY

  • ur STUPID!

  • this is disturbing

  • lmfao.. hmmm somthings missing here -_-

  • you have no intake on it and it looks like the vacum line is disconnected....it will never start you dumb fuck!

  • @niggerslaugh2 yeahh man like what a fucking idiot

  • as far as i'm concerned, it's hot hot

  • No intake tube, Idle stabilizer disconected. how the fuck you expect it to start idiots

  • omg what a fucking dip stick you are. r u fucken kidding me, dame frogg eating dumb ass

  • hey try putting an intake pipe dumbass that will help i drive the same kind of jetta so i know about that shit it wont start unles the air flow sensor is hook up

  • so with out a intake hose isnt it bad that the jetta isnt getting any clean air in the moter and it will start burning corbin gases??

  • You live close to davesfarm ? Let he look at it , he can surely fix it for you .

  • Sasa knew Dave (Dave rocks farm) for ten years and he fixed the car no problem long story

  • It will not run without a air intake hose on.

  • im having the same problem i think it is the timing chain

  • theres no timing chain on a 2.0L 8v...

  • belt chain samething but i fixed my car it was the coil

  • are u retarded. u need the air intake hooked up..

  • What`s that ernnnnnnnnnnnnnn noise ?

Love the cranking noise though .

  • Do you seriously not see that you don't have the air intake hooked up? Which includes the mass airflow sensor... which determines how much gas is injected...

    OMG

  • dude you need the mass sensor it will continue to do that...
