Surprisingly enough the USMC calls a gun mounted to a truck or tank or other machine or boat that does not have a built in recoil system a "recoilless" meaning it does not have a standard gas or spring recoil system. Under normal circumstances I would consider a .22 long rifle recoilless but we are talking about the military here, all common sense goes out the window.....Kinda. The gun shot in this video was not meant to be shot from the shoulder...EVER.
