She tried to pull as much from the books as she could for Kahlan, but she didn't have any say in how the show was written. It's the fault of the writers that the show doesn't match the books, not her.

I think the reason "The Legend of the Seeker" is garnering the popularity that it has is not because of the acting/storyline, both of which are a bit clichéd and sub par. I think the show is gaining in popularity because a lot of guys tune in to see Bridget Regan, because she is one of the most exquisitely beautiful women on TV. If they want to increase the ratings all they have to do is put her in a more revealing outfit that shows her midriff - a la Gabrielle from Xena Warrior Princess.

5'8 is really tall for a girl(that's what the other poster meant). The average height for a girl in the US is 5'4 and a half. And actually she's more like 5'10(which is a very rare height for a girl). Craig Horner is 5'11 and she is barely 1 inch shorter. Really tall actresses tend to downgrade themselves because it's harder for tall actresses to find work.
