  • I got one of these lipos for free and did not know how to use it properly. Used it in my airsoft rifle fine but tried it on an rc car and pulled too much power out. Glad it didn't do anything but swell up one cell just a little bit. Thanks socom gear I guess lol

  • since ppl seem to know wat they talkin bout here, i gotta ask about my nicd battery that got overcharged by about 20 minutes, it charges rly slow so i fugured that time wouldnt of done any damage, but now its not working, if i cant get it to work, how can i discharge it?

  • Hey man idk what type of battery my airsoft has is called. And idk the mah, and the ROF. but my gun is crosman r73 please tell me the type of battery it contains

  • I NEED HELP I WAS SUPPOSED TO CHARGE MY AIRSOFT GUN 8.4V BATTERY (STICK TYPE) FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND I ACCIDENTALY CHARGED IT OVERNIGHT BECAUSE I FORGOT. I TOOK IT OUTSIDE AND IMMEDIATELY HOOKED IT ONTO MY GUN AND I FIRED IT ON FULL AUTO AND IT HAD A HUGE ROF INCREASE BUT IT DOESNT USUALLY SHOOT THAT FAST SO IS IT A PROBLEM?

  • @werdo141 do you have an automatic charger?

  • @waffeinfinland its the standard charger the battery comes with

  • @werdo141 ok. you've probably overcharged your battery (suprise :P) and the lifespan of the battery may weaken due to that, but i can't figure out how it can effect the ROF so much.. please tell me:

    - the mAh of your battery (should be written on the battery, about 600 mAh is norm for stick type) and if it was empty when you started charging it

    - if is it NiCd or NiMH?

    - how huge was the difference of the ROF? like 50%+ or like 100%+?

    - was this the first time you fully charged your battery? :P

  • @waffeinfinland ok the battery had just started to wear down a little, so i wanted to put it in the charger for an hour, but i left it on all night. it was not fully discharged. my battery is a 8.4v 1100mah ni-mh battery. the rate of fire increase about 25 % (not that much) and this is not the first time i have charged my battery (i am not sure if i have ever charged it fully i have been using the fast charge option on the battery witch is 2-2 and a half hours

  • @werdo141 i've also got a NiMH battery and always after i fully charge it for about 5 - 5.5 hours (norm charger) it shoots again at the gun's normal ROF.

in NiCd batteries the ROF stays about the same, charged or almost dead but in NiMH the ROF slowly decreases then after its charged it will shoot better

now when i think about it, the battery may not be damaged at all, becouse chargers with a fast charge option are usually automatic, so there may be no damage at all.

  • imagine u take the batteries out and they xplode in ur hands that is scary

  • When you say, "Explosions" do you mean they exploded while they were shooting the AEG?

  • Lipo's are one of the most unstable batteries ever mass produced. In the past 6 months in my airsoft community there has been "6" lipo explosions, yes explosions. Totaling there guns and burning them or there gear. I know I should not voice my opinion over YouTube but i do not think lipo's are stable enough. Besides that I dont think airsoft guns are ready for such a battery even if they where stable. This is just from my experence. Remember lipo's are no different they still come from China

  • well the idiots can't use em. besides people by life-po batteries know. they're not as bad and can pump out 14.8v in a large 8.4 space ;)

  • i agreee but dont dis china man

  • @Surefire3333 ur an idiot, i fly high power competition rc aircraft and everyone in the hobby only uses li-po batterys, all of you people need to learn proper ballencing, cycleing, discharging, storing, and usage of the lipo, and if you dont, you will get the results most of u airsofters are getting. My charger probably costs as much as one of your guns...500..

  • .to use a lipo, when you charge it, you moniter each cell, the voltage, temperature and several other factors. If u have a clue at what you are doing with lipos, they are extremely powerful beasts and are very safe. BTW i bet you didnt even know you cant discharge your lipo below 40%, if you do, you can catch it on fire....just another example...

  • @Surefire3333 wow man...6? you must play with some really dumb people...they give your gun a huge ROF boost.

  • no flame and explosion but the cells are ready to blow

  • Very good question!, what's the music ???

This is Nickelback ??? if it's, what's the title ?

  • the tittle is truth and the singer is seether

    I love this song!!

  • the band is seether but i forget the song name

  • nice vid .. hum what is the music :)?

  • Nice. I want some of these. Thanks for selling quality gear!

  • So, it didn't pop, it didn't burn. Does the charger have an auto-cutoff feature like the Lithium-Phosphate chargers?

  • That one obviously didn't

  • i assume the one in this video is 7.4volt capacity right? because it's 2 cells

  • You are right. Sorry. Our fault.
