Raven and SVER are equal, SVER usually holds 1 contract in all game modes, Raven usually holds 2 in Acquisition (I hate that game mode) and Domination can vary. On Raven per Domination match I'd get 700-800 points, on Valor I'd get 400-500 points.

Raven is by far my favourite PMC.

SVER's weapons have slightly higher stopping power (damage) where as Ravens have MUCH higher rate of fire.

But the people on SVER I find are complete arseholes, the other day I got kicked for getting 1 friendly.

2 times veteran here, 140hours+ on MAG. (Vet means you got level 60 and started from scratch)

I obtained level 60 from Raven, Valor and now working on SVER.

I can honestly tell you this from experience: Hardly anyone in Valor heals. Valors weapons are terrible, their heavy MG is awfully slow (Ravens is the best) Valors suppression is full of level 30's trying to revive you with a repair kit.

Valor is just awful. So if you get the game, don't start off as them!

How do I get a new gun? I know you get it from the skill trees, but do I have to get EVERYTHING (starting from left of the Assault Rifle section to the right) before I get my new gun?

You click directives and it sends you to a game mode (Sabotage, Domination, ect.) you get about 50 - 100 extra experience for joining a game through directives. (this builds up over time)

i usually play domination so i click directives and check if domination is under directives and if its not i leave the queue and join domination normally

@moptedctu Nope, upon further gameplay it was proven false, that was actually info I had from a friend. He probably healed ppl within distance of a frago, which does double xp for any action.

@XxSchlongConneryxX Respec is an abbreviation for respecialization, it's a do-over. It wipes clean your choices of talents and lets you respend the points you've earned. You keep your points, you just get them back to change stuff around.

for beginners i recommend valor because they have accurate weapons with low recoil and easy to us and sver for more advanced people because its hard to keep the barrel down but they have really high power but low fire rate so they all have an advantage

i have to say onething, dont get me wrong im a complete noob! im only lvl 5 or 4, but why would you get repairing? like when did u get it at? Theres a gametype, which is after sabotage that you need to protect some vehicle, but is that all u'd need it for?

And a question for bein a noob is, is raven better then s.v.e.r? i like sver but alot of people like raven, is it just because they look cool or is there a reason?

i dont know why but valor always seem to work as a team, every match there is at least one person who will try to heal you but my dad and brother brother, SVER and Raven respectively, dont usually have someone in their game who will risk their life to heal you

It really depends on what you want and it's more thematic than anything.

Raven's weapons tend to be accurate and faster firing, but lack stopping power

SVER tend towards high damage, but their rate of fire is lacking and are only moderately accurate.

Valor occupies a middle ground between the two.

They're all balanced against the other and the differences are only minor, so it really depends on if you want to play an unorthodox third world revolutionary, a grizzled veteran, or a high tech op.

I don't think any of the sides suck. I played RAVEN during beta and picked Valor when I got the game. I gotta say the machine gun when fully upgraded destroys everything. 100 Bullets that turn into pin point accuracy when you have the recoil reduction and a handle grip. This gun is waaaaaaay overpowered in all the sides. I actually like Valor with their veteran gung-ho look while those Black Power ranger cry babies can wait for now.

i decided to use improved res because when i go down, i hate when people dont kill the guy who kills me, picks me up for 50hp and i get gunned down again. so this way, when i see people go down, they come back with 100hp and have a better chance to back me up and others up without dying right away.

you may know this by now, but the Directives game mode puts you into a needed battle and as a bonus you will get extra xp. directives is good when going solo.

yeah, and if you win ten matches, you get a trophy, which is how I know about this. i swear i'm not a trophy whore tho...even tho i have MW2 at 93%. (its so sad it won't be my first game to get platinum, but because of MAG, I don't even care at this point. same with BFBC2 just for the record...)

Oh, and SVER has much better music. It's more metal and is done by Apoclyptica. I can't believe that so many youtubers are going with raven and valor who are getting their asses kicked...TBC?.....

theres not too many in sver, there's just as much in Valor if not more. Raven has the least. and right now im with raven, and people don't know how to be medics or something. they don't seem to see me, hear me, nothing. its so frustrating especially because raven could be a great faction. they have better helicopters and better guns. they don't bounce around like sver so at least i can skip the grip and get something else.

At 7:07 you said that improved healing and improved resuscitation gives you more experience points every time you use them. Well from my experience of using them I did NOT get any extra XP. I still get only 10 XP for a revive which I got with the normal resuscitation so it was a waste of 5 skill points. I am going to re- spec asap so I can buy a bigger machine gun instead. You are right about the other upgrades though. Raven FTW!

@americadashi Yesterday I respecialized 3 times to try out all the weapons. Will be doing an indepth review soon, but I can say that the LMG is a game changer. No other weapon possesses the ability to knock down 4-6 enemies face-to-face quickly without reloading.

just some tips for beginers i think all u need is a basic gun, and the resesitation(fail spelling) dont get the other healing ones because when u revive some1 u get 10xp, buy if u revive some1 to full health u still get 10 xp, so u waste 3 skillpoints and still get the same ammount of healing

dude in the spawn menu press L1+L2+R1+R3 you will get your coordinate's (latitude,altitude,longitude) on the bottom right of the screen

this is very helpful for planning an assault

with your team but it takes a while to learn the lay of the land...
