yes there is indeed harmony though to foreigners it look very chaotic. I've been driving for more than 20 yrs. without a single accident

Harmony? Harmony? Just because you can see patterns out of some f-up shit does not mean the f-up shit is harmonious. I've seen videos of thousands of rats running around, and none of them bump into each other either. So don't get freaking spiritual about the Indian traffic pattern. In fact, it just shows how Indians lack the proper higher functions of planning and execution that mark us Humans apart from you know what not.
