seriously, i was really disappointed that ALex didn't win, even though Sam was my fav one out of all of them. Dissapointing but not at all unexpected. Cant help wondering if the voting by public wasnt as riged as the rest of the program. I think if 2 things like
1) the votes only came thrue on the Demelza number
2) They took out Caris and Sam since they were a stronger threat for Demelza. With those 2 there really wasnt much choices, even though i would still have picked Alex since she atleast was a better rolemodel and also dont forget how they always say that models should know fashion.
sam improved a whole lot photoshoot-wise and she's got a killer walk. caris always has great photos even though she's chaos just seconds before the shot, she always brought it at the end but i think sam should've won coz her photos became so much better and was actually at the top so many times towards the end and that shows growth, her walk is the best out of all of them and she's got a great personality.
ah well neither of them was my favourite. demelza never listened to the judges and they constantly complained about her photos but at the end they said she was safe. alex can't walk the runway to save her life.

Dont agree to what you´re saying. I mean if they didn´t want to get fat why eating cookies? I mean they are not kids and could have made their own food instead . If they eat something someone else has made they should have been grown enough to understand that someone could do that especially since its a competition. I didn't like demelza at all during the cycle, but I also think that a lot of girls have done something bitchy (especially in their teenage years) at one point or another. Its just unfortunate that hers was caught on camera for everyone to see. However I do believe Alex was the best model. Look how many shows she booked for fashion week. Also, if people can ignore Demelzas body for a beauty shot (like Neopolian said) then can't people ignore Alex' runway walk for an amazing fashion shot???
I think both girls were actually very strong. I liked some of Demelza's photos better than Alex's, and I liked some of Alex's more than Demelza's. A lot of people really hated Demelza...but it was the Autralian vote that made her the winner, so if that many people hated her...then why didn't they vote for Alex? Demelza is only 17, I don't think she is a real bitch...just a little snooty. Most teens go through a stage like that. Will she be a great model-yes. An Alice Burdeu-hmmm don't know!!
So the Photoshoots in this are way better than a lot of the one's America's Next Top Model does...but this is much more like a REALITY competition to me than a MODELING one. A live finale??? Cool..but this isn't American Idol...or in this case, Austrailian Idol. Jodhi Meares is actually a really bad host!!! Tyra Banks can be really goofy and annoying sometimes, but this bitch is just bland! What kind of host doesn't even come to the finale of her own show? Thank God she is being replaced!

well i never watched aus next top model series 4, its only started here on TV in Ireland...i couldn not be bothered watching the whole series so i just decided to watch the finale on youtube...i actually enjoyed the format the aussies brought by having a live series finale...as it was my 1st time seeing the series, my vote went with Demelza!! Modeling isn't really about how pretty you are. You have to have a certain 'look' and that isn't necessarily the 'hot' beach babe look. Heaps of top models look like aliens.
i cringed when i heard demelza..like america's next top model, not being the winner is more a blessing than winning bc they go on to have real careers. I really wanted Alex to win out of the two...although I am a Caris fan all the way. However, I guess it is good that Demelza won because two of her judge votes came from the two people she would represent: Napoleon Cosmetics and Pricilla Model Management.
Good job to both and I think that they will both be successful, but not as much as Alice. She was such a professional from the beginning and did not have to change much before hitting the international stage. Alice rocks my world!

Dissapointing but not at all unexpected. Cant help wondering if the voting by public wasnt as riged as the rest of the program. I think if 2 things like
1) the votes only came thrue on the Demelza number
2) They took out Caris and Sam since they were a stronger threat for Demelza. With those 2 there really wasnt much choices, even though i would still have picked Alex since she atleast was a better rolemodel and also dont forget how they always say that models should know fashion.

sam and caris should have been the finalists.
sam improved a whole lot photoshoot-wise and she's got a killer walk. caris always has great photos even though she's chaos just seconds before the shot, she always brought it at the end but i think sam should've won coz her photos became so much better and was actually at the top so many times towards the end and that shows growth, her walk is the best out of all of them and she's got a great personality.

ah well neither of them was my favourite. demelza never listened to the judges and they constantly complained about her photos but at the end they said she was safe. alex can't walk the runway to save her life.

why is everyone hating on demelza so much? yeah she did something wrong and she's apologised for it and by the way she's still growing. she was matured enough to take responsibilty for what she did wrong. let's not forget that Alex was a bitch too, cooking very unhealthy food for her contestants. they were both a bitch and alex was even worse because she did hers in a hidden way trying to appear nice by cooking but actually doing evil behind everyone's back.

Dont agree to what you´re saying. I mean if they didn´t want to get fat why eating cookies? I mean they are not kids and could have made their own food instead . If they eat something someone else has made they should have been grown enough to understand that someone could do that especially since its a competition. I wouldnt eat cookies of any kind if i was on a diet like models are, and if so I would have made them MYSELF to make sure if im old enough to cook. Did Alex FORCED them to eat?

Um, maybe if they had bothered to show Alex's portfolio BEFORE closing the voting, like they did for Demelza, then she would've had a better chance. Alex totally should've won. This live show really cheapens the whole thing, too.

I didn't like demelza at all during the cycle, but I also think that a lot of girls have done something bitchy (especially in their teenage years) at one point or another. Its just unfortunate that hers was caught on camera for everyone to see. However I do believe Alex was the best model. Look how many shows she booked for fashion week. Also, if people can ignore Demelzas body for a beauty shot (like Neopolian said) then can't people ignore Alex' runway walk for an amazing fashion shot???

I think both girls were actually very strong. I liked some of Demelza's photos better than Alex's, and I liked some of Alex's more than Demelza's. A lot of people really hated Demelza...but it was the Autralian vote that made her the winner, so if that many people hated her...then why didn't they vote for Alex? Demelza is only 17, I don't think she is a real bitch...just a little snooty. Most teens go through a stage like that. Will she be a great model-yes. An Alice Burdeu-hmmm don't know!!

So the Photoshoots in this are way better than a lot of the one's America's Next Top Model does...but this is much more like a REALITY competition to me than a MODELING one. A live finale??? Cool..but this isn't American Idol...or in this case, Austrailian Idol. Jodhi Meares is actually a really bad host!!! Tyra Banks can be really goofy and annoying sometimes, but this bitch is just bland! What kind of host doesn't even come to the finale of her own show? Thank God she is being replaced!

I'm gutted it was these two in the final. Don't like Demelza or Alex half as much as Caris and Sam. It should've been them! At least Alex had the grace to say that Demelza looked stunning on the runway. I liked Belinda in this series cos she stood up for Alamela, and Caris cos she didn't seem bitchy.

Um... okay. So, they taped that girl saying that the 16 year old was the Next Top Model, right? And, the judges all had it so that it was a tie. But the lady said that the judges made their decision right on the spot. But, how could they have had a tie and didn't know that it would be a tie, and get that girl to say?

well i never watched aus next top model series 4, its only started here on TV in Ireland...i couldn not be bothered watching the whole series so i just decided to watch the finale on youtube...i actually enjoyed the format the aussies brought by having a live series finale...as it was my 1st time seeing the series, my vote went with Demelza!! Alex had a TERRIBLE walk also..good luck Dimelza!! Irish beauty!! :D

No surprise the bug-eyed bully won, Mummy and Daddy probably paid for the result. Demelza is a bored little rich girl dabbling with modelling; she isnt sincere about the profession at all. How can the winner be decided by the public - a top model should be decided by industry professionals. Sam should have won, but both she and Alex will have great careers while Ms Bug Eyes will end up running a dress store in a Wollongong shopping centre.

I really wanted Alex to win out of the two...although I am a Caris fan all the way. However, I guess it is good that Demelza won because two of her judge votes came from the two people she would represent: Napoleon Cosmetics and Pricilla Model Management.
Good job to both and I think that they will both be successful, but not as much as Alice. She was such a professional from the beginning and did not have to change much before hitting the international stage. Alice rocks my world!
