This is a masterwork if it is "heaven forbid" remade your score and music should/ no has to be used..My clip is just a simple sync but it works well. I purposely did not chooses a pristine clip...It just looked and felt better...Going to check out your sight....

There is just no way of making the original main titles of metropolis better. The sequence itself is well made (although the graphics / rendering could've been better), some good references to the movie itself, but the Elfman-music is veeery improper and the whole idea of making a modern main title to such a classical movie like "Metropolis" just feels wrong. Anyway, technically good work.

I have to agree with this guy. Now what they should do is not remake but re-release Metropolis (latest edition) into theaters everywhere. It might flop, but no money will be lost, right? Or have they done this before? I can't remember.

Metropolis is my favorite film, and I hope they never remake it (lest we have another Planet of the Apes). That aside, this opening is wonderful, great job!
