They, so created a cast in the beginning to keep track of scars occurred throughout the story and to fade them as "story time" went forward. That's very thoughtful!! It looks as if the casts were made before his physique was fully transformed to that of the Spartacus we see on screen. That is to say as the series went on his body took on the physical changes you would expect to see in one whose undergone rigorous gladiatorial training.

Just an observation.

Andy you were a beautiful, talented man who'd only just gotten his feet wet, bound for stardom. I wish you and you family peace. You will forever live on in our hearts as THE SPARTACUS.

You beautiful fucking man! Why Andy, why were you taking from your wife, children, family, friends and fans so soon :-( In honor of Andy I will not be watching the second season of Spartucus. I can't bear to see him on the finale ep of Season 1 exiting the doors and realizing that would be his final exit to tune in to Season 2 to see some other person in his place. I will not watch it and I will be staging an online boycott of the show Series 2 .
