  • Cool ^^

  • Wow. :D He can fiddle!

  • Yes, he can -- 1850s style, too!

More at Truman's own YouTube Channel: "truprice."

  • nice keep the nice spirit up not to many like country now its all this rap hip hop crap

  • this guy doesn't sing it well, and he aint from the south.

  • He IS a southerner, bubba! Truman was raised in Sam's Valley, in SW Oregon.

This style of music (and these songs) have been played in Oregon since the 1850s. The style is Irish. The music is Americana, and made popular on the Oregon Trail, as southerners streamed from the south to Oregon over the Oregon Trail.

I'm guessing you're better suited for commenting on NASCAR drivers than musicians. It's a big world out there, bubba, get a clue and join the party!

  • that song is named Dixieland???

  • What does that mean?

  • @LastCityCowboy

This song is OH SUSANNA written by celebrated 19th century composer Stephen Foster, a major hit all across America back then.

I believe that you're thinking of the song DIXIE which was also major hit folk song in the 19th century, and was adopted by the South as a rally-cry song during the American Civil War.

  • Right on!!! Keep it American! Ole Timey
