God, I LOVE this song! It's my favorite of Tina's. My husband and I saw her in D.C. last November and she is FABULOUS in concert!!! As Tina demsonstrates here she can SING so well that, at her age she no longers need to revive the wild hip shaking rock and roller of years ago. I hope her new show will be an evolved/mature Tina and showcase her vocal talents. Frankly, and I've loved Tina for almost 40 years, she can't glide so dazzlingly across a stage as she used to, and, God love her, she's put on a few deserved pounds. Just sing for us Tina. I'd be happy.

She only ever sang it on ONE tour - the USA What's Love Live Tour of 1993/4 - and that was really just to plug it. It obviously worked as it was a Top 10 hit over there. It's a brilliant song though - co-wrote by Lulu I believe. It's definitely one of her finest works in my opinion and it's such a shame she won't sing it live anymore. I saw an interview with her where she said "..I don't want to sing 'I Don't Wanna Fight' because I don't! ie. wanna fight! She likes upbeat stuff! Her choice! ;-)
