Hmm... Well, since Toon Link/ Link have the same final smash maybe Link's Final smash could've been changed so he can transform into a wolf. I mean, his graphics are copied off this game anyway. . _. It'd be like Ganon, only you could actually control him.

later in the game there are like 3 of thoes black things and i don't know how to beat them because when i kill 2 the 3rd 1 just calls them back to life

oh easy, what u do is fight them until midna says that you can charge up your b attack. when u charge up ur b attack as wolf link there should be a giant orange ring around you. kill off one of the black things normally and then get the last two into the ring. thatll solve your problem.

Maybe his up-special could be Midna launching her "hand" upwards and homing in on an edge to recover. It would also knock out enemies that it touched. I know tether recovery sucks, but it would at least make some sense and not turn link/midna into an ice climbers clone.

true and in SSBB they made tether recovery so much better. it locks in on an edge and works so much better, Zero Suit Samus is a great example because she can recover from so far away.
