i want to live in this country in the near future.. Im planning to stay in nigeria or to work but the problen is some says it's a corrupt country.. who can help me to find a job in this country.. Email me at ricardo_banares@yahoo.com
@09272575110 It depends on the job you are seeking. Their are jobs in the entertainment/movie industry(ex. nollywood), fashion industry, healthcare(ex, doctors), business, corporate, and etc and depending on which one you pick, some are easier then others to get because of connections & based your skills. when it comes to business you can do almost anything actually, I would advise you to watch the video eye on Lagos - business Climate & Nigeria's brain gain, when it comes to business
@09272575110 when it comes to corruption in Nigeria, well it exist but that is slowly being combated in Nigeria now. My first advise to you is figure out what job you want, make friends with educated & successful Nigerians that have jobs in Nigeria ask for advise, then travel to states or cities in Nigeria with Nigerian friends like Lagos, Abuja to have a feel of how the job market is in Nigeria and how Nigerian society is when it comes to accommodation(eye on Lagos - rent) and etc
This is actually what is called one Nigeria, seeing another tribe man in other government. i love yorubans, though they are not our problem in Nigeria, they are fair people. i wish our Ibo governors will emulate this, to employ yorubans in government. with this, one Nigeria will be extra ordinary, and firm. Hausans should know that Nigeria is a country for all, let's all love one another and live in peace, it will encourage unity and development. Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, WAZOBIA. one love.
@lawrencepurity,Good point. Problem is very few Yorubas live, work and do business in the South East. It's not that they or other ethnic groups hate to live in the South East, their absence is due to the absence of Federal govt presence in the IBO states. Kudos to Lagos state govt though for recognizances the efforts of the Ibos in developing Lagos state. Unlike other ethnic groups, the Igbos are found everywhere in Nigeria and they pay taxes and contribute to the development of those area.
@lawrencepurity,Good point. Problem is very few Yorubas live, work and do business in the South East. It's not that they or other ethnic groups hate to live in the South East, their absence is due to the absence of Federal govt presence in Iboland. The Igbos are found everywhere in Nigeria and they pay taxes and contribute to the development of the states they live in. Ben's appointment is a recognition by the Lagos state govt of the contribution of Ibos to the development of Lagos state.
why build a mega city...give the money to another state governor so they can expand and renew their own state too..lagos is too crowded, I say Fashola for President ~~~~~so he can take care of the electricity issue....
Do you know how much it would it cost to build a nice house in Nigeria? I like the big homes I see in the Nollywood movies. Also, can foreigners own property in Nigeria? I want to live there and make movies.
Dont try to modernise lagos Just use the money to Build Power Plants for constant Electricity and Water. Also sewage treatment and garbage tratment plants thats what Lagos needs for now. Health Care, Security and better Prisons too...
Hey! Take it cool. Why are u sounding hateful? I believe this is a step in the right direction. Hope you know how many years it took us to get a governor who is thinking of making lagos better. Fashola aint that stupid not to realise Lagos need all that you listed. Its one thing at a time. He'll get to that. Also, remember all the politicking by the Federal Govt. Just pray for him and support him.
good points! but we also need a new international airport please !!!!!!! the new local airport looks impressive i past by there sunday , but the international airport just needs to be overhauled like, yesterday...
Ben Akabueze an Ibo man and a comissioner in Lagos. This is what I want. I'm a yoruba guy. Square peg in square hole. Fashola meant business. I am so happy to see triabalism been put behind qualities and ability to deliever. God bless you Fashola.
Ese!!! Dalu!!!! Well written my brother. I will like to see in other states even if its only one competent people irrespective of their Nigerian ethnic group give the job for their experience. We will get them we just need COLLECTIVE TOLERANCE AND THE VISION TO SEE A UNITED NIGERIA IS A PROSPEROUS ONE.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video,it is certainly educating, and it shows the superb effort being made by (H.E.) Gov. Fashola and his economic team to move the state forward, and its partnership with the private sector which employs most of the beautiful people of Lagos.
thank you qold9ia
