  • A good compromise is a case used for a target / hunting bow. They come in both hard and plastic. Typically, about $60. I personally, use a soft easton baseball bat bag. It's extremely compact but has a pocket for my futaba 7c. Those current align bags for trex 500/600 are silly, because the flybar doesn't fit either. You are supposed to "re-set / push back" the flybar. You need a caliper it back and also check for level.

  • thats not l very good case because if you slam on the brakes the fly bar will be damaged, cause there is no padding protecting it. l have a army case with a hard shell with foam and cut out to fit my heli nice and cosy, and ever fit my radio and batteries cosy as well.

  • @134tommy134 Hard shell case is definitely better. Good point about the flybar being vulnerable. I have never had it damaged in transport but shall check it now each time I take it out of the case.

  • Cool case!

  • The hardshell golf cases are more protective, but don't fit in the trunk of my car very well. Your choice, but please get something to protect your heli when you transport it. Your heli will thank you!

  • good idea passangers please return your trays to the locked and upright position as we decent for landing haha

  • Thats a great idea. Thanks. Sure cheaper than those custom cases.
